Leaves marks inside each other or on anything they sit on

Although I really like the looks of these measuring cups being rustic/farmhouse style and so convenient to use, they are really adorable but leave black marks inside when stacking and white marks on top of my black wood breadbox! I am not sure why? maybe they did not apply enough glaze? I am keeping them because they are useable! I hope I am not poisoning my husband and myself because i can see some of the clay showing through the glaze, both inside and outside of the measuring cups.

Pretty little set

It’s aesthetically beautiful . Stackable, it easily fits into most any drawer. I miss that there’s no handles, however. The measurements are noted inside the little bowls down about an inch so it’s not like you can brush the top & call it “leveled”. Still, they’re pretty. I’m learning.
