Haven't installed yet. Since received the weeds got real tall and can't see the tank.

I had to trim the tank opening just a little, but I figured I would need to.Bulkhead fit perfectly after trimming the opening and works great with no leaks.

Used for my 120 gallon fish tank. Worked exactly how I needed it too after looking everywhere for the correct part.

so they work or are working for last few days. 1.77 is a 45mm and in my area very hard to find making this job harder.if this was a glass tank i would of sent them back but a acrylic tank it can be drimiled to open up from a 1.75.the threads on the inside for the PVC 90 are way to big and it took 5 raps of Teflon tape to make it snug enough and come tight with the fitting aliened with the right spot.

I had a 1-3/4 inch hole pre drilled in my glass tank and this 1" bulkhead requires 1-7/8 inch hole. Will buy from Bulk Reef Supply of Savko in the future.

The two fittings received had threads that were too tight on one side of the fitting and too loose on the other (test fitting was done with several different male pipe threaded adapters). The threads appeared to have been die-cut as opposed to being precisely molded. As a consequence of die-cutting, the threads were apparently cut too deeply on one side and too shallowly on the other. In order to make the fittings usable, the tight side required 'chasing out the threads' with a needle file. The loose side required applying copious amounts of Teflon tape to adequality tighten the fit. Ultimately the fittings were usable but required significant effort to make them such. A trade off of price for quality.

The material looks with small cosmetics defects and when trying to put a joint for the front part it doesn't go in properly, one side does (bottom hole) but the other doesn't(top hole).

Did what they claimed and arrived quick.

I bought these bulkheads for my pond skimmer. None of them are true 1" thread - oversized from 1/16 to 1/8". There is no enough of Teflon tape or pipe dough to bond the thread! Really huge variances!Complete waste of money and most of all time!!!! I can't even return this garbage because it has tool marks and goop allover!
