Stunning in Gray Denim Skirt

This is a beautiful skirt! I own about 5 denim skirts by Style J and love the styles they offer. I always get lots of compliments on them. They're comfortable and suitable for summer through winter, being of a medium weight demin. The only complaint I have is, "Seriously, why so long?" Admittedly I'm only 4'11 but to wear this skirt I have to wear boots with a 2.5" platform and a 6" heel which boosts me up to the average height for a woman 5'5" and this skirt still brushes the floor. I love long denim skirts but I wish Style J would make their longer styles with the average woman in mind and not a 5'8 model, or at least give options on the length. I didn't knock off any stars for this because the measurements are clearly stated with the skirt so you know what you're getting. An issue I do have with Style J is their strange sizing. You will not wear your normal size in these skirts. Pay close attention to the measurements they list with each skirt and if you're on the boreline, order up a size. I usually wear a size 4 denim skirt, I'm 34-26-34. According to their measurement table I'd wear a size 6. The first Style J skirt I bought, I purchased a size 6 and had to return it for a size 8. I now buy size 8's in all Style J skirts. The size 6 fit but it was hard to pull up over my hips and I knew if it shrunk or if I gained a pound I'd be in trouble. So order up a size. The quality is always very good and the styles are terrific and the prices are fair. Look no further for a great denim skirt!

I love this skirt. The quality of the jean material is excellent. It is thick, but flowy. I received many compliments while wearing it. One thing, the waist is very tiny in a size 10. I tried it on, it fit around my waist when buttoned up. However, it made a huge muffin top. I gave it to my daughter and ordered a size 12. The size 12 was too big around the waist. So I returned the size 12 and took the size 10 back from my daughter. Sorry, sweetie! The muffin top doesn't show if I wear a long flowy top. I am 5ft 8inches tall. The skirt comes to my feet, but does not hit the ground. It is the perfect length. For help in sizing, I am 153 pounds. My waist is 30 inches.

I am a size 10, my measurements are approximately 37, 33, 38(hips), I ordered a size 12 based on other reviews... Resulting in a very roomy fit, almost too loose. But it rests on hips where I wanted it to.I'm going to keep the size 12 and maybe alter the waist, as I fear a waist that is too tight in my usual size 10.This skirt is cute! Drapes nicely as the denim is soft and pliable. Nicely conducted... So so so cute and versatile.

Shouldv'e ordered a size 14 instead of 16; other reviews on Style J skirts said they run small, but I didn't find that to be the case. I wear a 14, sometimes a 16. 16 fits fine but has stretch and a little room to grow (which I hope I don't need!) Super long- take into consideration that the girl in the picture is wearing heels! Almost drags the ground in flats. Style, color, and quality are all great. Delivered promptly, too. Thanks, StyleJ!

Arrived on time and well packaged. The fit is as expected from Style J (sizing chart accurate, I ordered a USA size 16) so I'm very happy. I am a bit disappointed with the fabric. It is not heavy weight and does not drape well, but does wash well (may need ironing). The skirt is so comfortable to wear that even though I don't love it, I like to wear it. The grey color coordinates well with just about any top in the closet. It is long--I'm about 5' 6" and it ankle length on me.

I just cannot say enough about how much I love Style J skirts! They have larger sizes but are still very stylish. Having a little spandex makes a lot of difference in comfort. This is perfect for work, any top will go with this. It is long but not too long that I will trip. I have several skirts from Style J and they all hold up well when laundered, no shrinkage when I put them in the dryer. This skirt is one that I can wear year round.

I had purchased the blue denim and the brown denim skirt a couple months ago and really liked them. I have had several compliments .I was a little disappointed in the Gray skirt. It is a much lighter weight than the other ones. Not denim material . I do like it though.

It is the same as fantastic flared, but in gray. The fantastic flared is my favorite skirt, so I ordered this one as well as the white one. Very happy with this purchase. It is flattering and very comfortable.
