Gift
Purchased as a gag gift and the recipient LOVED it!! He was shocked at how flavorful these were and how truly spicy they were too. He has since purchased more to share with others who enjoy spicy foods and has received compliments on them. No one is expecting much when they see these because how could spicy could a jellybean really be and could it really taste like what the box says??? Well it really does!!! Don’t hesitate to buy these if you’re looking for something fun to share with friends who like spicy things. You can even play a different version of the Harry Potter Bean Boozled Jelly Bean game!

Hot!!
I have to say, as a connoisseur of all things hot, I was not expecting much from these jelly beans. I was wrong. The heat is impressive! I’m not sure if they’re out of order on the box but the sriracha gave the Carolina reaper a run for its money. Maybe I ate the wrong one first but it definitely set the standard. I wouldn’t eat these as a snack, but worth a try,

Its a bit hot
I did not purchase this for myself but for my wife as part of her Christmas gift. She love hot and spicy things(that is why she married me..ha ha) Anyway... she said overall the flavors were decent but some(I cannot remember which one) was just hot and not much flavor. But she did like them and would probably purchase again... Though I wish I had gotten the one that came with the stuffed bear as it is so cute. Also if anyone is saying these are not hot then I think there may be something seriously wrong with their tongue. If my wife says some of these are hot you can best believe they are hot.. haha Give them a try. Good luck.

Worth It
I don’t usually write reviews but was so impressed with the level of spice that I felt moved to comment. Also, I hate being disappointed by products with bold claims like this one, because there’s no way to know if it’s any good until you either buy or read a really thorough review. First, just to give some perspective: I’m by no means a spice-tolerance expert, but I like it hotter than most people I know at least. I love Paquis’ “Haunted Ghost Pepper” Tortilla Chips, and usually have an open bag in my kitchen. That said, bean 3 of 5 seemed—to me—to be already hotter than a hand full of those. This is the best comparison that I am able make from my limited experience, as I have yet to get my hands on a Paquis “One Chip Challenge” Tortilla Chip, unfortunately, but boy are these spicy! I guess I was mostly impressed because my expectations were so low. I wrongfully assumed that a popular candy company would be too mainstream to challenge its consumers with anything stronger than the diluted offerings sold by Starburst, Gushers, Wendy’s, and Taco Bell, and the like. These “SuPeR sPiCy!!1! ™️“ products which boast ghost peppers and other flavorings are what I have come to expect from larger companies jumping on the spicy bandwagon. I’ve always been a Jelly Belly fan, though, so I’m very glad I trusted that reputation and bought some of these! Probably doesn’t compare to a One Chip Challenge or some of the other spiciest products out there, but I have to say that for a mainstream product, they did a great job with these and I am thoroughly impressed! I think this is a great product for someone who enjoys the casual challenge, but maybe not necessarily hot enough for the absolute most intense spice lovers. I hope this helps!

Very tiny box with just a few jelly beans
This is a very small box and holds just a few jelly beans. Not worth the price. Stocking stuffer for son in law who loves jelly beans and all things spicy. He loved it.

SERIOUSLY, These are the real deal. I WAS skeptical too.
Ok, I bought these thinking they were going to be like every product that labels itself as spicy - a joke. I LOVE spicy foods, hot sauces, peppers, etc. I am very experienced with them. These beans are incredibly shocking - you would never guess a jelly bean could taste like this, or cause this much pain. As far as the actual FLAVOR (not the heat) I would say it is not something you'd likely be craving, but that is not really the point. They taste pretty spot on to the raw peppers themselves, but they're much more about the heat. Now, the point of these are to feel the heat - so, yes, if you swallow these without chewing, you'll look oh so tough and impress everyone (just kidding). Don't be a baby, chew the beans to a mush before you swallow. To address the people who cannot seem to tell the difference between certain beans, you clearly aren't paying attention. There isn't a single bean I've encountered which isn't obvious. PS: feed your friends (or perhaps enemies) the carolina reaper bean, they will thank you greatly for the experience after they frantically question their preconceived notions of what a jelly bean is capable of doing to a human.

Fire candy
A neat play on the spicy challenges. Jelly Belly is still the beans on the market.
