I purchased these ice packs as a second set. I have another rectangular ice pack by the same company and have always loved using it. But sometimes if I fall asleep with it, and it is no longer cold, I wanted to have a second one in the freezer all ready to use right away. I love being able to slip the ice pack inside a pillowcase or wrap a thin towel around it and place it on my achy hips when I go to bed and not have to worry about getting frostbite if I fall asleep. The gel inside warms from your body heat and prevents frostbite. They work well and are nice and cold for roughly 20 minutes before they start warming up from your body heat which is the length of time your doctor or PT will tell you use it for. So, I have found these to be ideal! I bought the 2-pack ice pack which also has a smaller strip that wraps around a shoulder or knee and fits the contour. I thought it would eventually come in handy, and I know it will, but to date I have not needed to use this one. I think it will work great though! The quality of the cover on the ice pack is nice and durable. I have never had one puncture or get damaged. Highly recommended!

Has a quality of vinyl that is durable, and best when tossed inside a pillow case to sling it over your broken limb! Excellent ice packs: thick enough to retain the cold temperature from the freezer -- Do NOT HEAT.

I have chronic pain and inflammation and these ice packs are so soft and pliable yet are quite cold and last longer than the 20 Minute duration you should have ice applied. They also re-chill quickly. We bought several for our family and some extras as gifts. I can’t recommend these better than to say ‘We will never use a different type/brand of ice pack.’

I bought this for some pain management and it didn’t really help me though I don’t think this is the product’s fault. It gets nice and cold and works as advertised.

These pads were recommended to me by my physical therapist after my knee surgery. They are the best thing ever. They freeze perfectly, yet are soft and pliable to wrap around my knee. They are much colder than my ice machine so I use them when I am home and can shorten the time. I use the other pad on my lower back and sometimes my neck. Again, one of the best features is how soft and pliable they are. I have been using them daily since last June and they are still in perfect condition.. Highly recommend this quality product.
