GlucoNavii Control Solution – For the Blood Glucose Monitor

Works.

Back in the mid-noughties my local GP fixed me up with a GlucoRX Nexus blood glucose monitoring system. Many years too late I decided to check the monitor's performance by purchasing some up-to-date control fluid. Nexus appears to have been replaced with "Navii" (at least by Amazon) so I purchased a pack with two tiny bottles. With no relevant paperwork I have no idea whether my device is spot on but it did confirm by signalling two clear glucose levels at the low and big ends of usual blood-sugar levels - 8 and 14. So I assume all is OK.

Excellent service from this seller - I have no hesitation in recommending them and their products.I'm quite new to this glucose monitoring - and purchased the Gluco navi monitor as I saw it recommended on a diabetic forum - it is easy to use and reasonably priced - as are the accessories.I bought the control solution to check that the meter and test strips were working correctly - so far I have not used it - so cannot give a rating for its accuracy - but the strips and meter are giving readings consistent with those taken at my GP's surgery and the hospital - so I am happy with that

The #2 Control Solution is meant to have a test value of between 5 and 7.8 mmol/L and the delivered on gives me 12.8 on 2 different meters.The #3 should give a control measurement of 9.4 - 13.5 mmol/L and this solution gives 20.4 on 2 different machines!

Couldn't recommend this product because it doesn't say how to use it.

Struggled with the instructions but once I understood what I was supposed to be doing it worked as expected
