Great fit for short girls!
Bought these for the upcoming cold rainy weather hikes and camping and surf fishing (under waders) in Washington state. Figured a soft shell fleece lined pant would be just what the doctor prescribed to stay reasonably warm and dry this year.I’m happy to say that these fit great, and are made well. I’m 5’3” 155lbs, and wear US size 8 short jeans.I bought both a Medium and a Small, and was able to fit into both. Small fit like a skinny pant throughout the leg and around the ankle, which would be great for tucking into socks or boots or whatever, but is just a tad bit too snug in the hip to where I could still squat down, but was subconsciously wondering whether the seams were going to split (they probably won’t as this material is quite stretchy, but I wouldn’t chance it out on the trail). If you have less meaty thighs than I do and not too much junk in the trunk, I think the Small would work quite well. For me, the Medium pant fits comfortably snug over thin leggings underneath (seen sticking out above the waist in the photos), with room for unrestricted motion. The waist is stretchy enough to accommodate a turkey dinner without need to unzip 😂 yet tight enough to comfortably move around and keep the pants in place without a belt. The elastic is only on the sides of the waistband, allowing the waistband to sit flat against the small of the back - very important for a comfortable, secure fit and feel! All four zippered pockets are cavernous and swallow my hand up to the wrist (women’s glove size medium). I can fit my giant iPhone 6s+ into every pocket with ample room to spare. So far, hanging around the house for the past hour or so with these pants on, they are delightfully warm, soft, and stretchy - everything you would expect from a soft shell! If I were to nitpick anything about these pants at all, it would be the fit around the ankle. They fit more like a straight leg pant and not quite tapered like the photos show, which is neither here nor there when it comes to fitting them over a shoe or for tucking into a boot. At 30” inseam and a straight leg like that, they bunch up a bit over low cut hiking shoes, inviting in wind drafts and moisture right at the ankle and over the top of the shoe. If they had added zippers at the ankle or some way to control the diameter of the cuff opening, it would take this pant from A to A+.Also, at 5’3”, the top most knee stitch sits ever so slightly below my kneecap. Not a big deal and does not affect function, but thought it worth mentioning. These would fit absolutely spot on for someone who’s 5’5”-5’6” (US average height for women) wearing above the ankle boots, in my opinion.I’ll try to remember to update this review for performance out in the elements after I’ve had a chance to take them out for a spin. Cheers!

Cute! But size up if you have a butt
I normally buy larges in pants and will have to return them. Thought they would have more stretch. I had to place another order and size up to XL and now they fit perfect. The sizing chart was hard to go by so I read reviews. For reference I carry my weight in my hips/thighs/butt. The large was like I couldn't bend/squat in them. I like that they are more fitted and they feel like they will be warm with the fleece lining. Can't wait to try them this weekend with the ice storm and on a ski hill....I will update review if they don't keep me warm. The only thing that may bother me may be the swooshy sound they make when walking but the purple color is pretty and they look nice. Price was great!

warm pants
Ordered a size Medium after receiving size Large that was way to big. Used these for a day hike and I most likely could have worn them without the additional thermal underneath because I was sweating. The fleece liner inside the pants is really enough for a comfortable day hike.

PERFECT Winter Weather pants!
I don't know if there is a more perfect pant for the fall and winter weather....If there is I sure haven't found it. I Have worn them in 20 degree weather to shovel the driveway ( takes about 3 hours ) also to work in the yard and in the snow. They are warm ...they block the wind..They definitely dont get wetThey are waterproof for sure and very comfortable. I thought they might be heavy but they're actually light weight.I ordered a MED. 130 lbs. Still have room to wear long Johns leggings or jeans under them. I have Warn all 3 And they are very comfortable. I've also worn just the pants on not as cold days . PERFECT I love them. They dont add the look of extra pounds..... Let's face it that's what women really care about lolDONT WASH. IT WILL ruin the water proofing on fabric . I hope this helped anyone who is thinking about purchasing these pants. They REALLY ARE AWESOME!!.One more thing I forgot they would be great for skiing!

Great warm winter pant that are waterproof
I love the elastic waistband which make these easy to pull on and off. The color is great and the light fleece lining keeps me warm without anything underneath. So far I have worn them in rain and snow and they have been waterproof. I had prior reviews and saw that they definitely don’t fit like the model and are more baggy which is true. They are not form fitting at all. However, the extra room allows you to add a base layer if needed and makes it easier to move in them. I would say order either your regular size or consider sizing down. I ordered a large thinking they would be hard to get on but they are big on me and a medium would have been better.

Size runs a bit too big or small but great otherwise
I love the style of these pants and they work great for staying warm and dry. I dont like the swish sound they produce but I’m not going hunting in them so whatever. Be sure of the size you order, i am a size 14 47inch waist and ordered US 2xl and they were so baggy on the calfs and waist. I ordered an xl and it’s a tight fit. Im keeping them because i will lose weight to fit into them but just be aware of sizing. Other than that I get tons of compliments on the style and I love the leg pocket for my id and the hip pockets fit my iphone and everything else nicely.

Xsmall sized pants are gigantic.
I had purchased a pair of hiking pants from this manufacturer a month or so ago and I really loved them -they fit perfectly. So I was looking forward to receiving these pants. Unfortunately, even though I ordered the exact same size, xsmall, as the hiking pants I purchased previously, these pants are way too big. It seems as though they are mislabeled. I thought that I accidentally ordered men’s instead of women’s but I triple checked the label and it clearly states W. I really wanted to keep them because they appear to be well-made and would be perfect for winter hiking. They are just too, too baggy. I had to return them. I am 5 ft 4 inches and weight 118 pounds and I was literally swimming in these allegedly xsmall sized pants.

These are made in China, and due to that EXPECT SHORT PANTS
I bought these in small, thinking that the price range I am paying for this quality US product will fit in US sizes. But alas, I found that my original 'SMALL' which should fit my thin frame was ok in width sizing, but the legs were excessively short. I missed the window to return them, so I ordered again, this time MEDIUM, thinking I would be enough to get me just a little more length to cover the top of my boots. NOPE! Super short again. Made for short people who are 5'4-5'5 max. I either return them and wait for months on end to receive this again, or keep them & make due. Such a bummer to knowing most companies are outsourced to China these days. The pants are quality look and feel tho, hence why I give 3 stars. Just get LARGE or extra large if you are 5'8-5'9
