Love at First Sight
My wife was on the look out for a new chair Shiatsu Back Massager as our dog broke the power cord of our older Comfier Shiatsu Back Massager we had for probably I'd say 5 years. Since we loved our previous Comfier massager, we bought the same brand right away after I unboxed it, I knew my wife was going to love it. Comfier has definitely upgraded their materials they make the massager out of. They feel premium with the outer coating. It's soft and is gentle to the body. The item itself has numerous techniques or modalities used for handling all those aches and pains whether it's rolling or shiatsu. The heat this generates is also suitable to loosen up your muscles a bit. This does have to be plugged in so it isn't terribly portable but the device itself isn't terribly heavy so it isn't hard to move it from one chair to another. Overall, I'm satisfied with yet another Comfier massager.

This massage chair is the one!
I work long hours and my back is usually wrecked by the end of the day, so I figured I would give this a shot as my name brand one wasnโt cutting it. Honestly this thing has been way better than I expected. Now when I get home I just throw it on my chair, sit down, turn it on, and it feels amazing. Itโs become part of my routine at this point. The rollers hit pretty much every spot on my back. It actually feels like a real massage instead of those cheap pads that just vibrate and call it a day. The heat is also really nice. Not too hot, just enough to loosen things up after sitting all day. One thing I didnโt expect to like as much is the air compression on the seat. The way it squeezes your thighs actually feels great and kind of adds to the whole massage instead of just being a gimmick. Same with the vibration in the seat. It just makes the whole thing feel more complete. The crazy part is I actually own a name brand massage chair that cost me about three times as much as this. Iโm not even joking when I say this one gives me better relief. That surprised me a lot. Itโs easy to set up, you can throw it on pretty much any chair, and it just works. If you sit a lot for work or deal with back tension this thing is absolutely worth it. I use it almost every day now and Iโd buy it again without thinking twice.

Great, other than one thing...
I accidentally broke our Brookstone massager just like this one and wanted to just replace with the same one, but Brookstone no longer makes it and since it's been around 5 years, it's out of stock everywhere. I purchased a regular Comfier massage chair last year to have a light weight one for travel, which did work out well, so finding this one from the same company made me more confident that it would be a good substitute. The most important feature to me was the air compression, as it helps my Fibro pain. I appreciate the level options for this feature -- something Brookstone's didn't have! The heat is another essential feature and it was a comfortable temperature. The optional padding over the back rollers also has the potential to come in clutch when my Fibro is bad, making me far more sensitive. The only complaint I have is the run time not having options as well. 15 min is not nearly long enough for those with chronic pain like me, but I can see it being ok for my husband or on days before work when I don't have time for a longer massage. It's not the biggest deal in the world, but showing you know your customer means knowing chronic pain sufferers will be a decent demographic of your business, which means time options should be one of the priorities. At least two: 15 and 30. Otherwise I'm happy with the purchase so far! Thank you, Comfier, I am in less pain because of your product. ๐โโ๏ธ

Deep strong massage
This is my second Comfier massager I bought in recent days. I bought another one about 6 years ago around COVID when my massage person that I loved "retired" from her profession. I had such a good experience with the massager (it still works) that I had to get these when my kids started to hog it for themselves. I bought a massage pad a few weeks ago, and it was aces. It was pretty light and did a great job with both shiatsu and vibration. This one is a little different, so read on. This one is heavy. In fact it looks like the seat of a car. It came well packaged in the box and wrapped up. These are small details but matter in terms of attention to detail and quality. I was candidly a little disappointed when I got it out and found it so heavy. Well, I was wrong when I plugged it in. The shiatsu massaging of this is INCREDIBLE, probably explaining the weight. It digs deep- more than any massager I have tried. It is probably on par with a human. Apart from the deep relief,it has a weird/cool feature called 2D/3D massage. The best way to explain that is the 2D works by rolling up and down to cover the whole back. In the 3D mode, it moves up and down with slightly less pressure, but the massage ball moves in and out of your skin to create varying pressure while massaging. I really likes it. There is also a 2D/3D setting that does both at the same time (one deep 2D and one 3D before moving up or down). This also has a spot setting where you can position it in a spot, and this can on your lower back more than most massagers I have seen. It also has a heat setting, but candidly I don't use it. It is very well built and there is no reason why this should not last like the first one I got. If you are looking for a strong deep massage, this is highly recommended.

Relaxing and excellent value
This massager chair has been a wonderful addition to my daily routine. The Shiatsu massage feels great on my neck and back, and the heat function adds an extra level of comfort and relaxation. I love the compression feature, which helps relieve tension after a long day. It's easy to use, portable, and provides a surprisingly powerful massage. Excellent quality, great features, and well worth the investment.

Broke in 2 months, useless return policy.
Bad product, worse care. It was OK at first but broke within 2 months, Amazon will not back the product, and the seller will not allow a return after 1 month. Amazon directs us to the seller for support. The sellers policies seem intended to only back the product once, and ensure we get almost nothing back for a return. I didn't keep the box because it's large and I don't have space. Now they will only give me half my money back after I mail the large product back to them. With shipping I'd barely get $20 for the hassle, while they keep most of my +$180. Don't waste your money. It will likely only last a couple months at best. You're better off getting a real massage at that cost. They gave me a choice, they'll send me a new one if I video the problem. I asked if that one breaks will they back that product. The answer was no. OR I can mail it back, and only get half my money back. Between packaging and mailing the bulky broken item, I'd be left with a tiny fraction of the cash I paid. While they get away with not actually backing their product. The middle massager roller(best part of the machine) seems to have broken whatever track it rides in. I just wanted to get my money back, or know that they'd also back the replacement item with the same warranty. I told them I'd be OK with a replacement if it also had the same warranty. They said it would not. If they won't do either, they're banking that our busy schedules won't allow us to follow up and deal with the hassle of this useless policy.

Most Worth It Thing
This thing is so good. I'm 6'2 and use this on my power recliner and it feels incredible sitting upright or even better, reclined at zero gravity. My gf loves it too. The air cushions on the bottom actually do hit my sciatic nerve and it helps it a little more than I was expecting. My favorite thing about it is the neck massager like everyone says. It's really nice that you can change the direction of the neck and back massage in the middle of your session. The heat is a nice addition too. We loved it so much that my mother in law actually bought one! It's a nice piece for the home. Highly recommend!

Good functionality, questionable durability
The chair itself is great. It's powerful and has a range of features. However it's durability is questionable. I bought it January 22nd 2024 and today is December 15th 2025, so just shy of 2 years and one of the neck massage pads broke off and fell down inside the unit, the back portion massagers occasionally get locked up in Gears now and just click click click very loudly and do not move up and down until I toggle the power off and on. I suppose I am a heavier user of the product than probably most people so given how much money I would have spent on massages in 2 years it's a good value, however for a few dollars more I think they should have made a significantly more durable product. So take that for what it's worth
