Best kitty toothbrush!
I would give this 6 stars! The kit that I got at the vet came with a terrible stick device that had a brush that was not toothbrush shaped (it is a wedge shaped thing). The bristles were soft but they bent easily when brushing. I selected this toothbrush for two features: brush shape is regular (not flared at one end) so it's not too wide for kitty mouth. And it's made in the USA! And the price is very reasonable. I've been using it daily for more than a week and really like it. The length and width of the soft bristles are *perfect* for kitty mouth. My vet says it's the upper teeth that get the worse plaque buildup as the bottom teeth get some cleaning from the upper teeth. The bristles are soft but because there are lots of them they do a good job of cleaning. The length of the bristle area means that I am covering more area for the same number of brush strokes. And I can get a reasonable amount of the tooth paste on the brush (it has enzymatic ingredients). This is a great kitty toothbrush! Kitty is not particularly happy about brushing but tolerates it. YMMV.

Fantastic Cat Toothbrush
I used to use baby/infant toothbrushes to brush my cat's teeth, and while soft enough, they were just a little too big, to the point that I was sure I was missing the very tiny tooth in the back of the upper jaw. This toothbrush, having much shorter bristles and a smaller head than the baby toothbrush I'd been using most recently, gets farther back in her mouth by virtue of being able to get between her teeth and her lips, meaning I can brush all of her teeth thoroughly. For a cat who has already lost two teeth due to bad genetics, despite brushing, this is fantastic.

Small, but still too big for my cats
While it's the smallest toothbrush I have yet to find, it was still too big for my cats' mouths. The bristles are the perfect height. I wish the plastic head was flatter. I'm not sure if it would be possible. I am stuck using qtips. They work but I can't reuse them. It might work for bigger cats, though, and it would be good for toy breed dogs.

Cats' opinions not included...
I admit that I am a very curious club of cat owners who attempt to brush their cats' teeth - other than cat dental bills and orders from my vet to brush their teeth daily, I would love to exit said club - this is not for the lack of adorable toothbrush holders, cat approved flavored toothpastes, and other accouterments for feline dental hygiene, but rather the experience of wrestling not one but two mountain lions with my bare hands when I so much as raise the tooth brush to their whiskered lips. However, my judgment on the difficulty of trying to brush my cats' teeth is not a referendum on this brush, it would be this way with any toothbrush, gauze, my finger, a lampshade, pretty much anything. The chosen toothbrush just needs to do its job and get me through my daily arm wrestling match as quickly and efficiently as possible. So far, this has been the best bet for quick and efficient Indiana Jones style brushing. I think I've tried every brush on the market, including the long-handled pet toothbrushes that come with the CET toothpaste, the short handled white CET toothbrushes, gauze, finger brushes, etc. While no means a dream, this brush lets me get a swipe of toothpaste in their mouth and move on. I think this brush worked better for my cats because of the narrow profile and the fact it is designed for cats' smaller mouths. The brush head is 3/4 inch by 5/16 and has short, soft bristles. Although they will still be fighting the daily hygiene for years to come I imagine, this at least let me move the goalpost in the right direction.

Almost perfect!
This is one of the best toothbrushes I've tried. It's got short bristles that don't bend so much that you can't actually put enough pressure on the teeth to be effective. The profile of the plastic head is one of the smallest I've found, though I still tried to Dremel it down because my cat who needs the brushing has the tiniest mouth. And it's a much better price and has more surface area for being able to get those back molars without contorting yourself and your feline.

Well Designed and Appropriate Sized for a Cat’s Mouth
We love these little toothbrushes. We have used them for years along with the Japanese brand Mind Up’s tiny round toothbrushes. Cats generally don’t prefer having their teeth brushed but the smooth, tiny, narrow, rounded edge rectangle shape of this toothbrush allows it to fit comfortably into his tiny mouth and even reaches the farther back wisdom teeth. Great for brushing those front teeth especially. It works wonderfully with our cat. He doesn’t seem to mind it. Will continue to buy. As recommended we replace every three months when we replace our toothbrushes.

From a veterinary technician, this is a great brush!
So I had to start taking brushing my cats teeth seriously when I adopted a lovely little kitten with juvenile gingivitis and gingival hyperplasia and resulting stinky breath. I've used the finger brushes before and do care for those and the other pet toothbrushes are giant and have uncomfortable bristles. I love that this tooth brush has low profile bristles, they're fairly soft, and the whole brush is small enough to get back to those tricky molars. Now that we've got him trained and doing well I bought two more for the other cats to try and get them on board as well!

Perfect for cats!
I've been looking for the perfect sized toothbrush for my cat's mouth for a long time, and this is it! Brushing her teeth is not a fun task and all of the brushes that I was finding were either too big or too rough for her little mouth. The brush head on this toothbrush is the perfect size, and the soft bristles are short, which makes this fit in her mouth even better. I'm so happy with this brush!

I have been looking for a brush for my cats teeth that has shorter bristles, as it's easier to get around my cats mouth. This toothbrush works great! I have been using it for a few months, and the brushing experience is easier for both my cat and I. The bristles are nice and short, and soft too! Very gentle daily brushing keeps my cats dental health at an optimal level! I will definitely buy again!!!

Cannot recommend this toothbrush enough. Small and the bristles are low enough that it doesn't strain cats' mouths as much as a traditional small cat toothbrush.

I have used CET toothbrushes for my 5 lb fur baby but was looking for a brush with a softer bristle. The bristles on this brush are softer. I’ve only used it once and felt that the head could have been slightly shorter. I think the price is ridiculously high ( I bought two) and the toothbrushes took about six weeks to arrive.
