My filter pump stopped working so I purchased this product. I use one stone in my 3 gallon beta tank. It keeps my tank clean twice as long as the filter did. Why? You ask. I have no idea... maybe the water moves more. One more plus, my beta loves the bubbles. He wasn't sure at first. But now he races through them. 😆 • It's my opinion this product is a GREAT value for the $. • FYI. This product has no suction ability. Is is designed for an air pump to push air through a connected hose and through the holes in the "air stone".

Works well in my bait bucket.

Does the job and worth the money.

One of the four in the package was broken. But the other three were good. It's a good idea maybe to pack them with more bubble wrap.

I use these for DWC in 5 gallon ( or 3.5G) buckets - I put the air line into the bucket, and have a tee with each side is going to one of these 3" air stones - for a total of two of these 3" stones in each bucket, and they are great, lots of air bubbles. I use 2 for more air, but also to balance the water motion in the bucket - I have found using just one can cause a circular motion of the water thereby twisting the roots, making less air roots. I tried 4" but thats too big and are prone to sitting sideways or kinking the line. 2"are too small and end up "glugging" as the few bubbles collect into bigger bubbles I have bought many of these and will continue.
