the quality may be good but at this price for this quantity I would ...
Package was much smaller than expected (barely covers the palm of my hand) and also less than advertised. 0.17oz is 4.76g, but the package clearly says on the back it contains 3g (this part was helpfully left out of the item image). The package also has been shaken so the contents settle to give a more full appearance. It also took a very long time to arrive, being due before Apr 6th and arriving today on Apr 19th, almost 2 extra weeks (from seller arigatougozaimasu). I haven`t had a chance to try it yet, the quality may be good but at this price for this quantity I would not buy again.

Excellent! I love it.
These are exactly as described. I see some people complaining about the price, but the amazon price is actually much cheaper than the cost of buying this item through a deputy service. If you regularly cook with Japanese specialty baking ingredients, you know it can be a hassle to find a retailer that will ship to the US, so I'm very happy to see this here. Yes, it's a bit steep, but it IS a very niche item, and it's only made in Japan. The petals are a bit more subtle than the leaves, which are somewhat herbal. These are more floral, although they still have that slightly salty taste. I use them by mixing into cookie or chiffon cake batter, or sprinkling over a finished dessert as a garnish. I actually really like that you don't get a huge amount in the packet, as this is something I'm only going to use once a year- during cherry blossom season! I don't want to have to worry about using up a big container before it fades and loses its taste. This is just enough to make one or two sakura recipes, not too much, not too little. These are freeze dried, so once moisture works its way in there, they won't be quite as good. Try to keep them in a dark place, as sunlight will change the color of the petals very quickly. Do some recipe research before buying, as wasting even a little bit of this would be a bummer. Cookpad is a great resource for sakura recipes, and google translate is very helpful in that respect.

Don't waste your money!
Shipping took forever. The amount of flower petals was minute and not worth the amount of money paid for it. Consider a local source for dried petals.

So expensive for such tiny amount. So disappointing and such a rip off.

Not worth the price
I absolutely LOVE these flakes but there's hardly enough to do anything with, maybe to make two cups of tea or cook one batch of cookies. Not worth $10+ :(
