On a hand held camera an instinctive corrective movement will remove them but clearly that's not an option on a car mounted camera, so a permanently fitted polarising filter is a good preventative solution. There's no guarantee it's 100% effective in all situations but it's better than naught. This filter clipped on firmly onto the camera quite easily. Impossible to check its efficacy without a lot of careful work, so fingers crossed.
