Easy to use - very nice product
Very plyable and easy to work with (no soaking needed). We made mini short rib tamales with homemade salsa verde and salsa Roja! Very happy with this product 🌶️

husks
These husks came totally covered with black mold, discussing and dangerous. Don't buy. Who would send something like this?

Not even half a pound
These corn husks arrive wet. This may be nice if you want to use them right away but as I did not, I had to spread them all out on a table to allow them to dry so they wouldn't mold. In doing so I noticed several already had mildew spots covering them and there didn't seem to be very many corn husks in total. This product is advertised as 16 ounces of dried corn husks. I weighed them and when damp right out of the package they weighed only 14 ounces. In the morning when they had dried nearly all the way but still had a bit of moisture they didn't even weigh a full 8 ounces!

Large, clean, intact, these are the good ones A good choice in a purchase.
I will be back for more. I just finished making a batch of Tamales, these are PERFECT! Right out of the package they are fresh, soft perfect size and clean. Very little prep needed for tamales. I will definitely be back for more.

Kinda small
I haven’t used them yet, After looking at them they seem soft and should work well for tamales! My only problem is they look small and are not good if you plan on making big tamales…! Will update after I use them..

Excellent...worth the price
This is a product where size matters. My tamale recipe provides enough dough and filling to make about 30 tamales. One package of these corn husks provided more good sized husks than I needed to make a full batch of tamales. When I buy corn husks at my local grocery store, I typically buy two bags because only 1/2 the husks are big enough to make a decent tamale. I think I could have made 45-50 tamales with the corn husks in one these packages. The husks were a little pliable, not dry (almost brittle) like those I find at the supermarket. The only needed a 10-minute soak in hot water and they were ready to wrap some beautiful tamales.Only a few of the husks had small insect holes...which is common among all brands.I would buy these again. But, I won't need to for a while because I order two bags expecting them to be comparable to the smaller husks from a grocery store.

Authentic
These were the best tamale husk we have ever purchased. Were Clean. Were Large. Were proper thicknessWere easy to roll after soaking. My daughter and I make tamales for Christmas Eve. Husk are hard to find in East Tennessee. These cost just barely more then we've paid when found at a grocery store in past. But so very worth it. Shipped quickly. Therefore we didn't have to hunt some down . They were very wide so could have made really big thick tamales. Or , like us torn in half to make authentic size tamales. We made in advance, they stored well in refrigerator. Was a good choice to buy these. Will definitely order more. May just set up as subscribed for auto ship, if can do that for every 6 months. We should make tamales more ofyen then Christmas , because we love them. Ours look dry in picture because left in oven to long when warming them for the table.

Corn leaves.
Very good, the outside leaves are bigger than the inside leaves, I have to used 2 at a time to cover my tamales, but in general it serve the purpose.Muy buenas, las hojas de afuera son más grandes que las hojas de adentro, tuve que usar 2 a veces para cubrir mis tamales, en general cumple la función.
