What a tool. I wish I’d known these existed years ago. It removed blind circlips easily. I have struggled for years.

A well made tool useful for expanding snap rings to put in place on machinery. I used it to put a snap ring onto a car drive shaft prior to attaching a cv joint.

This item done what it said on the tin. Arrived on time

Used to fit the snap ring on gearbox mainshaft (Land Rover Series). Worked well. Job done

A must-have tool for external circlip pliers without holes. Recommend.

I had read reviews about poor machining/manufacturing a figured it may be an isolated case. It wasn't. The knurled tips of the pliers are machined unevenly. So the left jaw at the tip was under 1mm in thickness and the right jaw was around 3mm. If you're buying these to use on transmission butt end clips, you'll know how strong they can be. These pliers are unfit for purpose. I took a punt, didn't pay off and I've now ordered the £33 Knipex ones...... But cheap, buy twice is the case.

Worked great to get a finicky clip out of an E4OD transmission.

So far this works very well. I have been able to takeoff snap rings. I should say pretty hefty snap rings from a top load of gearbox but it would’ve been good to get the 11 inch plies for the big ones. the listing actually shows two sets as you scroll down so I wasn’t sure to be honest if you would get both sets, but as it works out, you want to get one
