He asked her to bring a stethoscope, and knowing I'd previously been a paramedic, he knew I'd still have mine. The ring around the diaphragm had deteriorated over the past 20 years since I bought it though, so it needed to be repaired. Placed the order and in less than 48 hours, my Littmann Master Cardiology was back in business. Perfect fit and an easy install. Tip... insert the diaphragm into the ring and then slip onto the bell as one piece. Tried to put the diaphragm on first, then the ring, but upon seating the ring, it pulled on the edge of the diaphragm, causing it to not fit evenly.
