So I pushed a rubber garden hose washer on the top and the cap snugs right onto it. ### ⭐ DANGEROUS! *by A***R on June 23, 2026* I needed a small alcohol lamp to use for shrinking insulating shrink tubing on my hobby projects. I figured this one was as good as any and the price was right. After opening it up and looking at it, I'm returing it immediatly. Here is why: 1) the lamp is taller than it is wide which makes it suseptable to being knocked over. 2) the ceramic wick holder/stopper fits ULTRA lose. So when ( not if) this gets knocked over, alcohol is going to spill out everywhere to creat an uncontrolable fire. Such an event could easily cause major home damage and/or even sever burns to anyone near it. The bottom line is that this thng is an accident waiting to happen.
