Seidio TETRA for Apple iPhone 6 - Retail Packaging - Black

Good:Looks great, fairly easy to install, comfortable buttons, very solid feel.Bad:The bottom/edges are sharp - particularly where the charging, speaker, and headphone port cut outs are. This can make it somewhat uncomfortable to hold from the bottom.The cutouts really are the main problem with this case, I really like Seidio and have bought their other cases in the past, I really wanted to love this case, but it has too many flaws (in my opinion) to get a higher rating. - The charger cutout works with the apple brand iphone lighting charger, but it is too small to fit my aftermarket belkin car lighting cable. - The headphone cutout works with the apple headphones, but is too small to fit the "beats" headphone cableIn addition, i ordered the silver case, and I have the space gray iphone. I was hoping it would be a close match to the space gray but it contrasts more than I thought. I did not mark down the rating for this.It also seems like the case will be difficult to take off, I only received it today, but now that its on I don't know how to take it off. I'm still unsure if I will keep it, since it is really inconvenient to not be able to use my accessories.If someone from Seidio happens to read this: The charger/headphone cutouts could have/be easily tapered to provide for more room for "aftermarket" accessories. That would have resulted in a 5 star rating.

Tired of one plastic case of the other, I decided to drop a few extra bucks for the Seidio Tetra (Gold) for my space grey iPhone 6.I'm finding it very hard to consider any other case. There are two layers to this bumper case:-- Soft TPU inner layer-- CNC milled aluminum outer layerThe TPU lining slips over the phone and the aluminum layer is held together by a very secure clasp mechanism on the bottom right of the phone. Personally, I find the look of the case to be both bold and refined. The aluminum has very precise cuts and is thicker around the corners for added strength. Aluminum feels so much better in the hand than plastic ever will. The case raises beyond the front and back faces just enough guard most impacts.The only issue with this case are the cut outs for the lightning and headphone jacks. They're milled very precisely and thus very small. You may have a hard time fitting third party cables and headphones in.Overall, I think this case is handsome and made with quality materials. It lends itself to the iPhone 6 very well.Pros:• Quality materials / Premium Feel• Bold, refined look.Cons:• Cut-outs could cause issue with some cables.• Minimal protection; just enough.

Full Disclosure - Like a man with a penchant for blondes, I fall for a sleek aluminum case with every phone I buy. I did it with the 4, the 5s and now the 6.They are sexy and sharp looking, they accent the phone instead of covering it and I love the feel of them. But they all do the same thing, they kill reception on a cell phone… radio signals don’t like going through metal, it’s simple and true. But every time, I convince myself that the antenna design has changed and this time it will be different. It never is and like a fool who never learns, I return the case.I wanted to love this case and it is so close to being amazing… but my reception dropped precipitously at home (where my signal is otherwise normal) and resulted in No Service in places where I previously had one bar. The case is beautifully crafted, the hinge on the bottom is elegant and much better than hex screws so many metal cases use. The parts are well made, fit well and look great. Alas, the function of the phone has to take priority over looks and style.

This is one of the best cases I have purchased in a while. It doesn't add too much thickness to the device, but it does add around the edges due to the rubber portion and the stylized metal bumper. It protrudes slightly above why screen and back of the device to add some protection there. It feels like a quality case over all. The only reason for the 4 stars is the mushy up volume button. The down button and on button feel nice though. Not consistent. If both buttons were the same, this would be an easy 5 stars.

Case is beautiful, but buttons are pretty hard to press, as the signal may drop slightly. Also, most aftermarket charging cable or headphones will NOT fit in the tiny holes. Only apple branded and a few monoprice cables that I have can fit. Good luck getting headphones in there, otherwise you'll have to buy an adapter. I posted a few pictures of the case if you are wondering how it looks like.

The bumper case itself looks great, but the volume button gets jammed up no matter how I try to put on the case. Save your money even though it is just few dollars and get another case like Spigen Tough Armor S.

fits good, but has some sharp edges. half my chargers don't fit, but the apple specific ones do.

The case has way to many problems first putting it on your phone it's really complicated then it's taking the case off..... Which you can't without breaking it anyway, also if you have a after market charger good luck charging your phone only the original lighting cable fits in the very small port and also the only aux that fits the case is your apple headphones aux otherwise your going to have to buy a adapter to make it fit

Really nice case - just a big problem that only the apple cable seems to fit in the port hole (I have quite a few cables)

Minimalistisch - nur Metallrahmen - macht dennoch iPhone sehr schön. Angenehmes Handgriffigkeit durch Wölbung. Vermutlich in schwarze Ausführung etwas anfälliger für Lackschade bzw sichtbare Krätzer. iPhone u. Kamera macht gerade kein Kontakt mit Oberflächen wenn Telefon hingeliegt wird. Letztendlich mich doch entschieden für mehr Abschirmung (auch Hinterseite) mit einer Element Case aus Kunststoff.

Da es den Bumper von Raidsonic Icy Box nicht mehr fürs 6er gibt habe ich zum Seidio Tetra gegriffen. Die Wahl habe ich nicht bereut. Der Bumper passt auf das 6s und hat sich auch seit 1 Monat bewährt. Die Installation ist easy. Nix wackelt und mit Originalkabeln habe ich auch keine Einschränkungen bei der Funktion. Top

Great product. Signal does drop a bit but it has not hampered its use. Looks awesome!
