ASICS Women's Gel-Kayano¿ 24

After suffering with plantar fasciitis a few years ago, I started wearing Asics Gel Kayanos. I did a little research, and then went to a specialty running store to try on a few different brands. These were the best stability shoe in terms of fit and comfort. I have now purchased them in 4 different colors through Amazon. They stand up to my cardio workouts at the gym and long walks around the reservoir. Plus they look great! I will literally cry if they ever stop making these!

I walk 3 miles outside everyday and over 5 - 7 miles a day. My one ankle had been sore on and off for several years, but lately much worse. I also felt a slight twinge in my knee. I have orthotics so could not understand why I had this problem. Luck had it, I got a blister from a new pair of running shoes. I searched the internet for a shoe for people with flat feet that overpronate. After wearing these shoes a few days, my ankle soreness went away, no knee twinge and I now have happy feet. The shoes also are extremely lightweight. The difference is so significant. If you have flat feet, I highly recommend you purchase these shoes.

Perfect fit, great sporty color and design, and great quality shoes! and the best of all, perfect fit for my tiny feet. I am originally 4.5 wide, which I can almost never find among women running shoes, but the size 5 of these shoes fit me perfectly. I also did a research before buying these shoes, and I am so happy that the designer has considered a gel inside the shoe to support the toe ball, where I mostly experience pain after a long workout.

As others said, a bit tighter in midfoot but the toe box is more comfortable than the last few models. However, I always replace the insole with Super Feet Berry and didn't noticed the midfoot tightness before doing so. If you have bought this model before, you will be the same size (probably half size bigger than regular shoes). I love the all black as I often wear them for non-sports events where I will be on my feet, with black pants no one notices. I was surprised to like the white trim. I do think they will stretch a bit with wearing so I can move into my heavier socks, that usually happens. I would still love a little more room in the toe box.

I like how I could find the prettier purple-blue color in my size for thirty dollars less on Amazon's Shoebacca than what I paid for the homely grey shoes I bought from Asics when I saw they'd run out of the better color. I have narrow feet and am very concerned that Asics could be discontinuing Narrow sizes; when you run you can't get by with imperfectly-fitting shoes, as you can when you're only walking. As a result, I've started stocking up on running shoes in my size.

I have been looking for new running shoes for at least 3 years. I spent a good amount of money trying to find the right pair. These are by far the best pair I have tried. My feet usually start hurting really bad after just a few minutes of running. With these ASICS, I am 100% comfortable for an entire 5k. It has some kind of plastic around the back to steady your ankle, which provides even more comfort. The style is awesome and goes with any workout outfit you can imagine. Some people said these were narrow and the go a half size up. I originally ordered a half size up and they were too big.

I love this running shoes. After a long run, my knees began to hurts and I trade my old shoes for these one and when I went back to running (after my knees stopped hurting) my knees didn’t hurt again. The shoes are pretty narrow but i don’t have a wide foot, so it’s not an issue for me.

I have been a loyal, only-kayano wearing runner for more than 10 years. These are by far the worst pair of Asics I have ever owned. The arch support, which is one of the signature features of Kayanos, is entirely gone in this model. My knees hurt the first time I ran in these. And, I don't know what everyone is talking about with room in the toebox - Kayanos have always fit me perfectly and these are just clownishly too wide. Doesn't help to lace them tighter either. If you are someone who usually wears Kayanos and, like me, just automatically order the new model when you needed new shoes - beware. Highly recommend trying these in a store before wasting $159. They feel flimsier and cheaper than any Kayano I've ever had, and not nearly as supportive as previous models. Time to find a new brand. So disappointing.

Lovely and comfortable and great colour

These shoes are perfect!! Everything is exactly as described, the colour is gorgeous, and the price was excellent!!! I have been wearing ASICS Gel Kayanos for years, and they never disappoint. As for purchasing from this seller, I absolutely will again. If you are wanting these bad boys... do it!! You will not be disappointed;)
