Easy setup, very effective!
These lights are great. They are easy to put together and install, the provide a great amount of light (at least for my setup), and dont get terribly hot. I was able to put together the entire setup without even enlisting my husband to help. I am about to order a whole additional set, as I'd like to utilize the additional two shelves available to me for more growing space. On the whole I would highly recommend for anyone looking to start seedlings indoors, and I've outlined some pros and cons below: Pros: - Easy installation: the lights come with the side reflector separate but they are incredibly easy to connect. Simply slide them into the grooves, I was able to assemble each light in about a minute. The clips that I used for my setup were also incredibly easy to clip on and factored into that one-minute assembly time. - Versitility: I am fortunate the my setup was such that I could have all of mi lights in sequence. However, should you need to you can actually run them as three separate systems with 3 switches controlling two lights each, making the system incredibly versatile to suit your individual needs. - Different clip options: I utilized the clips that literally just snap onto the top of the light to c9nnect to the hanger chains. However, there are also options for sticky pad attachments and an attachment for a hard mount that you could screw into a cabinet bottom or something like that should you want/need to. - Great output: You can see from the pictures that I am very successfully getting some great seedlings for my edible flower garden under these lights. I have used lights in the past that have caused pretty significant stretching, but I am happy to report that these have not. - Light weight: These are not heavy, particularly if you have lived the old fashioned fluorescent bulbs. As I mentioned, I was able to put these all up myself and it was a fun moment rather than a taxing or challenging one. - Great value for the money: You can see in my pics that I actually ended up with a lot of parts leftover which I feel like never happens these days. The zip ties you see pictured were inclouded which was amazing because I don't know if you've bought zip ties lately but they are ridiculously expensive for what they are! I also looked at several more expensive options, but went with these for what I considered a good balance of price and good reviews and I am so glad I did! Cons: ...... I don't really have anything here.... I will post down the line if I see stretching or if the lights fade or anything that could be better but I have to say, I am a harsh critic and it is rare that I am this pleased with a product. I reeeeeaaaaaaly thought hard on cons and here is all I got: - No dimmer switch: Ok, I knew that wasn't a thing with these, but that would be my only "wishlist item." But even as I write that I think to myself "why the heck would you dim growlights!?" ๐ค So there you have it. I am a harsh critic and very picky, and these lights just hit the mark on the whole. If you are on the fence I would genuinely say to you just go for it! Couldn't be easier to put together and install and you can see for yourself the growing results. One of my favorite light purchases I've ever made!

The Hype is Real
If you have been in the indoor growing community for any length of time, you have likely heard these lights recommended as the gold standard for budget-friendly setups. After 8 to 9 years of indoor growing and testing countless different light fixtures, I can confidently say that the rumors are entirely true. These are, by far, the best budget lights on the market. Here is a breakdown of how they perform in a real setup and why they have earned a permanent spot on my racks. Coverage & Growth Performance I run a standard setup with 4-foot-long shelves, and I position just one light per shelf, right down the center. The Results: Incredible. My microgreen grows have never looked so vibrant, healthy, and lush. Light Output: The light quality is more than adequate for high-density growing, providing the exact spectrum needed to prevent leggy crops and maximize flavor and yield. Smart Home Integration (Vivosun Compatibility) For those running a smart grow setup, these integrate beautifully. I pair mine with the Vivosun Smart Plug, which allows me to automate my lighting schedules through app "recipes." Note: Because these are standard plug-and-play lights, you wonโt get advanced features like automatic sunrise/sunset dimming, but for microgreens, you really donโt need them anyway. Simple on/off automation works perfectly. In fact, any other timer would likely work, but I have only tested with the Viviosun smart plug. Build Quality & Unboxing Packaging: The lights arrived very well packaged, ensuring no damaged bulbs or bent fixtures during transit. Hardware: They include a generous amount of mounting hardware, making installation a breeze regardless of your shelf type. Materials: The build feels durable and high-quality, not flimsy like other budget options in this price range. Pros & Cons Pros: Exceptional value; proven track record for microgreens; robust mounting hardware included; works seamlessly with Vivosun smart plugs for scheduling. Cons: No native dimming features (though entirely unnecessary for this application). Final Verdict If you want fantastic, vibrant food without breaking the bank on commercial-grade fixtures, this is the way to go. They offer quality materials, excellent light output, and unmatched value. Highly recommended!

Pleasantly surprised!
It took me forever to decide on some grow lights for my indoor veggies (tiny tim tomatoes, beets, radishes, bush beans, various herbs, and lettuce). There is just an insane amount of conflicting information out there on what parameters are best for indoor plants. I was honestly really nervous to get these and worried I'd be disappointed because I already wasted $80 on other lights that did nothing for my veggie plants :( so I couldn't justify spending a lot on trial #2. These were in my budget and thankfully have made my indoor gardening adventures actually successful, yay! So far in the month I've had these up my tomatoes have flowered and have tiny tomatoes forming and my radishes are also forming bulbs. My beets, beans, and lettuce all are growing at a noticeable pace and doing great. I'm pretty impressed! I have 2 bars of lights for each of my 3 rows of shelving, which seems to be effective for everything I'm growing. They give off a natural sunlight color which makes looking at and caring for my plants enjoyable. Biggest thing to get the most out of these lights (that I realized after testing it one of my three my tomato plants) was to use reflective material to bounce the light around your plants more. I just used tinfoil because it's cheap and already in my kitchen, I could make it whatever size I needed. My tomato plant was thriving more with the tinfoil bouncing the light around so I put tinfoil to kinda create a tunnel for all levels if my grow shelves. So many new flowers on my other two tomato plants now! I've also noticed that the heat (which is very minimal) and light germinate my seeds very fast, my new bush bean plant sprouted in 2 days, compared to over a week using my old lights. Same seed packet in the same 30 days so I'm convinced the lights made the difference. My sage, rosemary, and basil also sprouted in about 3 days. I'll be germinating all of my seeds in the spring under these lights for sure. I'd definitely buy more. They give you everything needed to install these. I installed mine onto my metal storage shelving and it was easy to install. If you're hoping to grow some veggies indoors, these lights seem to do a pretty great job of it! Just be sure to use the reflective material like tinfoil and you'll be a happy gardener!

Great lights! Go Back to the old model with bidirectional inputs and outputs!
I have several of these Barrina grow lights, I have been adding more as I've expanded my operation. So far i haven't had a single issue with any of them. My only gripe is they switched to using directional cables to link them together. They used to come with bidirectional cables which made connecting them in any configuration a breeze. You cannot combine the old lights with the new style which is frustrating bc I have a lot of both and it would be much more convenient to not have to double check every light I'm using. Other than that they work great and I will keep buying.

Simply ... Light and Easy Install
If you want the quick answer, these lights are great and met all my expectations. With that said, I am not a scientist. I have not measured the lumens, color intensity or anything else. I am a simple man. Weather this spring has been very strange. My potted plants needed some sunlight and the weather was just not behaving. So I purchased this product. NOW, I was intending on buying a different light, but saw in a review that they liked the Barrina lights better and I think were talking about something functional about the light that I didn't have the tools or practical experience with. Therefore I purchased the Barrina LED set of 4 for a few dollars more. INSTALLATION There are a few installation configurations (flush mount, hanging mount and adhesive) which are all provided with the packaging. I didn't use the flush mount mount or adhesive, because I was looking to suspend the light down towards the plant. I needed hanging mount for my configuration and after measuring 6" from both ends, the clamp just clamped in place. Good sure feeling when it was together. They also included several tie wraps that are long enough to suspend the light from its mounting location if you want. In both of my configurations, I had a 2x4 that the unit was going to hang from. I measured things it out, installed the hooks on the 2x4 then hung or suspended the 2x4 in place. Finally, I used the tie wraps to connect the light to the hooks. A great thing about this unit is that it is light weight. I recognized this from the front (of course), yet with the first two lights, I mounted them to the 10ft 2x4 before suspending the 2x4. It worked well, but when I got to the second set, I just mounted them with the tie wraps. If I would have done this with the first mounts, it would definitely would have been easier. Talking about 2 sets of lights, two sets of cables that you plug in to the wall outlet and a cable that would allow you to have all the lights in parallel. So this allows you configure two different light configurations. The plug end has a switch so you can turn the light off using that switch. BRIGHTNESS I was sitting in my garage, calming from a busy day, watching a show on the first night. It was the last day of April and I tend not having clocks around. Hey, I'm retired; lived with clocks all my life...why be on the clock when I retire. I was starting to feel a bit tired, but the sun was still bright out. Man, I must have really worked hard today...then I noticed that through the window, it was full night, but the lights were on so it looked like daylight. For me, that was a good indicator that there is enough light coming from this. VALUE FOR THE MONEY I searched big-box stores and plenty on Amazon for lights. Grow lights are more expensive than conventional lighting and LED lights are more expensive than fluorescent lights. Also, this world has gone a bit crazy with higher costs, so any videos or articles that you might encounter that says a price, the price is likely higher now. But using simple math (with unrealistic numbers), showed me that I was money ahead with this configuration than trying to put something together on my own. AND, I personally really really hate the buzzing noise of fluorescent lights...it's like finger nails on a blackboard.... So this was a really good deal. Then add in that all the mounting was provided in the packaging. Its a good deal. So the manufacture deserves a solid 5 stars.

Buy it, itโs what you want and need since youโre already looking at T8 style grow lights
I highly recommend this product, I couldnโt be happier. After using the Barrina 2000 4x4โ I never thought Iโd find a light source that would perform any better especially for the price point. Well these are now my favorite grow lights all around. My only warning is to keep an eye on the distance between light and the plants in order to avoid any leaf damage. Now for the rest, they are very light weight, the plants show an amazing growth rate under these with large healthy leaves. I did make a simple hanging system so I can adjust multiple lights at a time for easier access and to maintain consistent coverage. Connectivity is a breeze with included cords and no fool plugs, versatility in how you hang them is more than covered with all the attachments included for either a surface mount or cable hung. Heat dissipation is no problem as they run quite cool already. Currently only using 3 out of the 6 but they more than meet my requirements for now. The reflectors are a little flimsy in their fit but a couple of drops of silicone on each end keeps them from drooping and a consistent spread. I have been growing indoors for over 40 years and I know what to expect from my setups when it comes to growth and yields but these lights are outperforming any prior lights 2:1 Iโve included a few photos of 4 week old plants from seed. Multiple lettuce varieties, bok choy, tomatoes and Stevia everything is happy under these light. Originally figured I would be able to keep 48 at a time growing here until moving to a less restrictive area but with the rapid growth I can only comfortably fit 24 containers. My final thoughts are donโt wait put some plants in the pink and watch them thrive you wonโt be sorry๐

Seed Starting Must Have
This is one of my favorite grow lights for a few reasons (I am on my third growing season with them): 1) the 2ft length fits my bookshelves really easy and it's got the right amount of brightness I need to start seeds in my basement 2) comes with some clips that I can attach to the light and use that clip to feed twine to it and attach the grow light. I will them really low hanging at first for germination and over time I will shorten the twine and raise the light higher 3) good value for the price. Six lights is about the sweet spot to what I need for one shelf of seed starting. 4) the adaptors that come with the set and the adaptor on the lights allow me to configure it in many ways. Also I can disconnect some lights when I don't need all of them. For example, I only start onions in January and I just need 2 lights. Well I can disconnect the remaining four and only connect them as more seeds are setup for germination. Pairing them with a heat mat has increased my germination rate. Besides the clips (which are my favorite), it also comes with adhesive and screws. I have not used the screws yet, but did use the adhesive one season. It held up the light for about a three months. But what you need is to be able to move the light up and down so I highly recommend you use the clips.

Easy to assemble, ample light, and ability to connect several!
I'll go into more detail below, but as a flower farmer, I really like these lights! I grow about three thousand plants from seed in a smaller sized greenhouse. Simply put, they work perfect for what I need! Some key points; they're easy to assemble, easy to hang, and provide ample light! Assembly: The lights are well packaged and come with multiple parts; the light bar, light shields, cords, and multiple hanging-assembly options. Putting the lights together is very simple! The metal shields slide easily through their channels. Depending on how you want to hang your lights, they provide multiple options that are all very easy to clip/stick/adhere to the light bar. 10 out of 10 for ease of installation. The cord length is also great. I've received lights before that had short cords and made it difficult to plug in. Great length and plenty of connecting cords to hook multiple lights together. By the way, I can connect several of these on one plug! So nice! Durability; They feel quite durable, and although they say not to get water on them, I have a few times and they are holding up great. Light distribution; The metal shields on the side of the light bar really reflect the light onto my plants. My trays measure 10 inches x 20 inches and these lights cover them pretty well! I also appreciate that the light is directed downward by the shields. Other comments; I actually ordered this set a year ago and never installed them. I ordered a set again because I needed the extra lights. I was nervous that they changed or updated the design, making them incompatible to connect to the older version. The same exact product arrived! Kudos to consistency! Overall, I would recommend these lights time and time again!

They work well
Actually grew my indoor pants. They get a little hot

Extremely pleased with the convenience of setting up, and the results they produced in my seedlings.
I bought these a few months ago for growing my garden seedlings, and after they're all grown and planted, I can now comment on how they actually worked. They did a fantastic job, with two lights per 2' X slightly longer than 4' shelf. My peppers were so green and uniform, and almost 100% of them were budding by the time they started getting moved outside for hardening off. Same thing with the tomatoes, except I kept the lights higher than recommended above those, and they did get a little leggy. That was not the fault of the lights, and the plants were still fine though. I have used 4' 2-tube florescent shop lights, then 4' led shop lights which I still used this year along with these new "grow lights", and so am able to give you a side by side comparison. The end result: the shop lights grew good plants; the grow lights grew BETTER plants. The difference was quite noticeable. I chose white lights; I cannot speak about other colours available. The mounting clips had a good tight grip on the light body, yet not difficult to attach. The connector wires were long enough to connect lights on an upper and lower shelf. If you're looking for grow lights, and lost in the mountain of information out there, forget about the light spectrum charts, light meter readings and light measurement units you've never heard of before. Just buy these lights and call it a day. You and your plants will both be happy.

Better quality and stronger light output than expected
I bought the four foot ones. The quality and light output is better than expected. They include several different mounting hardware and electrical plug in options. The lights are made with an aluminum frame and reflectors. Plenty of LEDs provide a very good light source for the shelves in my little greenhouse. Would also work very well indoors. 6 four foot fixtures at a very reasonable price. Very happy with the purchase.

Excellent grow lightstis
Good quality grow lights, easy to set up and I like the fact that you can link them together. Since installing these my plants have flourished. The only downfall is the aluminum reflectors, they make a rather narrow beam.
