Kitchen Stitches: Sewing Projects to Spice Up Your Home

I only liked one pattern in this book...but it is a cool pattern indeed (Shattered Strips Place Mats). Happily it is deeply discounted at Amazon, compared to my local sewing center, so it was worth it for me. The pattern could use some improvement, but if you make it once as written, you will know how it could be (slightly) better.

Nice projects to put on my Wish List....I have not made any of the projects yet, but the directions are very clear and easy to understand. I look forward to making a couple of the projects.

Kitchen Stitches is full of great ideas for beginning sewists and veterans alike. I plan to make a lot of projects from this book as gifts and for myself.

I purchased this because of the good feedback, but was very disappointed. The pictures are beautiful and instructions to complete the projects seem easy enough for a beginner; but as an advanced seamstress, this book contains nothing new. If you've got a library full of books, you probably don't need this one!

Many of the patterns are the same but with different fabric. Not what I was expecting but it was a descrived.

Good choice of projects, not as exciting as I thought it would be but will use it when making gifts.

this book is okay , no complaints.I like the bag on the front cover.Some new twists on old favourites. Some not so new.
