No Bite Nail Polish - Kids Nail Biting & Thumb Sucking Prevention

Has been a saving grace over and over. I have a MI that causes me to bite over and over ruining my skin and nails to raw open small wounds. It hurt to do dishes,wash dogs, take a shower... This is the only stuff that works and I'm sad i don't see it in stores anymore. Yes its disgusting yes it gets on food you touch but I'm willing to use things to hold my food like small tongs for chips. You can get the nasty flavor off with the remover they sell. Because I don't have a "normal" anxiety habit I dont. Since re purchasing I've been able to stop biting. My skin is healing my nails are healing. For me 10/10

Listen! After putting it on his nails for the first time, he tasted it, disliked it, and I haven't seen him put his hands back in his mouth since. Excellent deterrent.

This has helped to get my toddler to stop sucking his thumb. Its very bitter and off putting so I had to sit with him and try to explain to him to not put his finger in his mouth. It caused him to start gagging so its clearly effective. I will say once they lick it a few times it seems to come off and not be as bitter. It deffinetly needs to be reapplied during the day.

I had a 2.5 year old who needed to break his thumb-sucking habit, as it was impacting his teeth. I applied this polish to the thumbnails of each hand--a single layer. I haven't seen him suck his thumb since, and have not had to reapply the polish. A single application successfully broke the habit.

I really wanted to love this stuff. First night putting it on our 18 month old it did the trick, she almost gagged when she tasted it. After that it didn't work at all. I re-applied several times per day but those thumbs went right back in her mouth during nap and bedtime. Will try a different brand.

Received 4/23/2026. Applies smoothly and dries fast. Tastes really bad. I am hopeful this will work. I will give an update in a few weeks and I’m am a long time nail biter😩🤣 Update 5/13/2026 It works great! My nails have grown beautifully. The taste was so horrible for me not to bit my nails. I will be continuing to use this. Only down fall is if you like finger foods you will taste the polish😅 Update 5/15/2026 I was able to paint my own nails (been years) and top it with Essie No Bite and still taste yucky😝 I’m so glad I found something that works for me not bitting my nails.

My 4yo was still thumb sucking at night and when he's tired. Then one night I put this on his nails when he was sleeping. The first night was rough - he woke up multiple times upset and confused about his thumb suddenly tasting bad. By day 2 he stopped fully sucking his thumb, though he did lick his thumb a few times during the day to see if the bad taste had gone away. I reapplied 2 days thereafter again while he was asleep. It has now been a full week and no more thumb sucking! He remains confused how suddenly his thumb tastes bad.... I guess I'll confess when he's older lol. There is another popular brand that sells a similar product but this one appears to be more geared towards children (at least it is marketed that way) so I chose this brand instead. The flavor of the nail polish is not horrendous but it is sufficiently bitter that it is not pleasant.

My twins love to suck their thumb. It’s a habit. Tried all but no avail until we found this product. After every shower have to reapply to ensure it’ll work. Done for 7 days and now the thumb habit is non existence. Thank you!!
