Q: Is the head piece removable?

No, it's not. It has one Zipper from the lower back to the top of the head.

Q: How well is the craftsmanship? Because Ive bought some in the past and they were horrid. They fell apart and the zippers got stuck.

Its like a lime green. Its awesome and it draws alot of attention

Q: Does the child size fit an 11 year old?

Depends on the 11 year old. Size of children can vary even with age. But I can assure you it does stretch to all kinds of sizes very much like women's nylons. Its very strong stretching material. My son is almost 9 years old. Fits him nicely and still lots more room for growth. Im not dissapointed in this product by any means and I think my child will still have it for several more years. The product is exactly as described by seller with no hidden flaws. I do believe it would fit an average skinny child between ages 8-12. This material stretches and compresses nicely with the child's body. Like I said age has nothing to do with it. Heavy set children may present a chalenge but average size 11 year old should be ok. My son has an 11 year old friend from school I can have try it on and get back with you. May take a few days to arrange though. Hope this helps.
