## Description

Based in the village of Zenabwork , Ethiopia, soleRebels produces the finest artisan-crafted footwear using only eco-sensible materials. soleRebels began with an idea that the creation of shoes could be a platform for inspiration and hope in a land that needs both. They craft excellent footwear that gives the person wearing them immense comfort and joy. They create great employment opportunities and give people who are often ignored a chance to engage in creative endeavors. From their inception, they set out to re-imagine and redefine the traditional Ethiopian selate shoe, or rubber tire sole shoe, in dynamic and vibrant new fashions. Employing the highly marginalized people of Ethiopia, soleRebels intends to create something that is authentically local, but with a truly universal flavor. With a unique sensibility, they use the traditional Ethiopian art of hand-spinning and hand-looming organic cotton into the finest, artisan-crafted footwear. So, help yourself, help others and be proud beacuse you're making the world a better place - one step at a time.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Love them!!

*by A***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 8, 2012*

Read other reviews about Sole Rebels Products that said to order 1/2 size up, so that is what I did. They fit Perfectly. Great Price, Cute Shoes! Came with a cute little tan linen drawstring bag for carrying them.

### ⭐⭐

    Too small!

*by D***H on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 10, 2013*

I ordered a half size larger than my usual size and it is still too small. I would return it, but I paid so little for them, I think I will just give them to someone.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Solid and great looking

*by L***D on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 29, 2012*

Attractive and solid in construction; exactly as pictured. I got two models and I'll be buying others. Based on other reviews, I got 1 size up and fits fine. I think the problem is that they are narrow.
