Verizon/Fios Wi Fi Home Router G3100 ,tri band

G3100 FIOS Router (Vendor FlakNet) delivered on time and as described, well packaged. Works perfectly, no problems as frequently reported on 'Net regarding dropped wifi signals and MOCA connection issues. Initially had some of those issues but ALL went away when I initialized and started and set up with single ethernet cable to my computer, then added peripherals (including second remote G1100 router over Moca, TIVO devices and multiple RaspberryPi sbc's ). Excellent router, speed showing 1.2 gbps over 5G at about 10feet.

Works great as a remote wireless in my garage. Garage is 100’ from house and has good signal.

Bought this item G3100 brand new (250.00 plus tax) on April 8th via MATEO National Wholesale LLC and it failed in about three months (July 14th 2025) and did not get the proper support only a representative hedging on support and trying to indicate that I was not resetting ( a clearly visible button on the back) the router correctly in order to restore the modem to proper working.When the product was originally delivered it had not been properly packed. The one piece of document was quite soiled. It failed in 3 months. On looking at the product one would seem to think it was a renewed product. I guess I made the mistake of accepting the item originally. Anything can fail but when you get a representative indicating that you can not reset a simple reset button even after you sent a photo, you would understand the situation

The router works great and was easy to set up. I have better range and faster speed for sure. Wireless 118 down and 110 up, which is great since I technically only have 75/75 from FIOS and was only really seeing about half of that before. No complaints other than this is obviously a refurb. The box looked like it was new 10 years ago, there was no bag or anything protecting the router, just a plain router stuck in the old box, and the power supply may be new but it was also provided in a bag that looks like it had been around the block a few times. I think the only new component provided is the ethernet cable. In any case, don't expect a new product, but it does work as advertised. To be safe I did a factory reset as well as changing all the default passwords and IDs. Who knows where this thing has been.TLDR, worth the money compared to the $400 that Verizon wants for the same thing, but don't expect a new product even though that's how it's advertised. Amazon needs to enforce this better to ensure we're actually getting a new product and not something that's refurbished, especially if it's sent from their warehouse through Prime.

I upgraded my Verizon Fios G1100 model that I owned to this new G3110 model. The install was easily as I just removed my old modem and hook this one up and plugged it in. The Fios service connected and I was back online within minutes. I had to reset up my Wi-Fi devices (smart plugs, Ring Video camera, thermostat, ect) after renaming the network on the new router. The one thing I really like about this router is the Wi-Fi coverage is stronger so I was able to remove the repeater unit as my video cameras are now getting a strong signal and are connected to the network and internet. I did use the WPS button on the router to quickly connect my wireless printer as well.Over I'm very happy with the upgrade and the internet connection is just as fast as my older router. I currently subscribe to 1 gig up/down connection with Fios and get a steady 800 mb up/down.

This product was very expensive but saved me a little bit over buying directly from Verizon. At the time, it was the fastest router that was officially approved to work with Fios. I didn't want to take a chance with unapproved routers, so ended up buying this. I have no regrets. It is fast, provides a strong signal all around the house, and is very reliable. I have never had to reset the router due to internet or WiFi going out. Not sure if that is because of the router or because I switched to Fios (from cable internet), but I am very happy. One thing I don't like is I can't tell if this thing updates its own firmware automatically or not. I can't find any update settings in the online interface.

Very sleek looking, high quality router, very easy to install even for a novice. I simply removed Fios Gateway router & connected this new one. It took a couple of minutes with flickering lights but then connected to my existing WiFi. There’s a url listed on the router with admin password so you can go & change your WiFi passwords.Signal is stronger & faster than Gateway. The range is significantly better too. No dead spots inside a large 2 story house. However, it still does not fully cover my deck or garage.The only negative is the high price. But you save a few $ buying at Amazon.

We recently switched to Fios TV One and one of our TVs was cutting out due to a poor wifi signal. We can't easily move the router closer, so we upgraded from the Quantum Gateway Router to this unit. The situation has improved, but not completely resolved. I've also noticed in the furthest corner of the house from the router the signal is still weak and not noticeably different from previous. I was expecting more, but figure it was still worthwhile since I bought the router rather than continue to pay a monthly rental fee for the other one.
