This is a lamp for the nightstand. We are going to fill it with shells. There was a problem with the finial. Amazon got with Lamps Plus and got a replacement part ASAPVery pleased overall.

What I wanted, however filling the glass cylinder has to be accomplished from the bottom and it was somewhat difficult to do. Actually, it needed 2 of us; one to hold the lamp in place while the other opened the bottom and put the sand and shells into the cylinder. Difficult to "place" shells/sand as the lamp had to lie on its side, reattach cylinder and then slowly stand back up. Will have to reopen and redo process. I like the height and style of lamp. It would be so much better if the glass cylinder could be filled from the top.

I liked that I could add seashells to this lamp easily to go with my beach theme. And I love the ease of charging devices with the base. I only wish that the lamp attached to the base.

Like the fact that I can display things dust free with added charging features! However it’s very hard to get the seashells or stones into the apparatus due to the continuous cord running through both caps plus it has 2 power cords that seem cumbersome.

The wing nut on the bottom broke when trying to unscrew. It was very very tight but was able to use half of the wing nut

My beach theme bedroom is so relaxing. I enjoy laying in bed admiring my beautiful shell collection in your gorgeous lamp. No more stretching to charge my phone. The base makes life more convenient. Thank you. I can't wait to add another to my spare room.

I used this fillable a lamp to put seashells in for my beach house came out awesome I bought my shells also from Amazon

Base did not work. The plug in appeared clued. The return was easy and had no concerns yet.
