Works perfectly, great quality and value!
I purchased this as hurricane Milton was approaching Florida and was out of power for a couple days and this worked perfectly outside in the elements. I can see this would fit any generator as specified. It was easy to install and now is working as a cover in the garage. Way cheaper than the one that the manufacturers suggested and fit well. I was a bit worried that I would have issues as my generator has a CO2 monitor/cutoff but never had a problem with the ventilation. I left a side and back open while running. Easy to open and fill the gas tank. Good quality waterproof materials. Just perfect!

Excellent build with real instructions
Like anything that is highly functional but comes unassembled, this product appears very complicated. Thanks to a highly-detailed manual, with color photos, assembly was a breeze. The closer I got to finishing the assembly, the more impressed I was with the construction quality. Not only does this cover fully protect the generator from the kind of weather that knocks out power, it also seems to knock a few decibels off the noise level. This cover was installed on a Firman 7500-watt portable generator. Perfect fit.

Very impressed, great cover
I was unexpectedly surprised at the first class quality of this product. It's thick and heavy, easy to install. Our generator has to sit in the back porch year round so we wanted something to protect it from rain and snow, and sun too. The cover has been on over a year now and still in like-new condition. It's easy to access for adding gas, easy to fold the sides up. Has good, strong Velcro tabs. I expect the sun to wear it out eventually (but I think it's going to take awhile!) and will definitely buy this exact cover again when it finally does. Great product.

So close to a perfect 5 star! I do think this is a great cover would buy again.
High quality materials. Vey functional. Well designed but with a couple misses. First, no regrets buying this. It will serve us well for many years to come and provides the ventilation needed for running generators with CO sensors. Instructions to assemble were more detailed then anything I’ve come across. Nice job! Putting it together was easy. Things fit nice and tight. However I would have to say this cover is not quite designed well enough to use it as a cover for long term storage outside. Because the sides roll up, the corners are not sealed so any wind and rain can work through the sides at the corners. An easy solution would be to add vertical flaps like on top at each vertical corner and have a few Velcro tack downs for each (material doesn’t have to be as heavy). I’m glad to admit the vertical corners are pretty tight so I may retract this comment after a year if it’s a nonissue and change my rating to a 5 star. The other thing is to lengthen the sides to get closer to the ground. If the generator is near or on dirt bark soil, there will be splash up on the generator. Ours is on a crushed rock pad so should be a minimal issue for us.These two issues are minor. It’s clear IGAN took time to design, uses high quality materials, and well fabricated. Until those two small issues are addressed and maintain the same quality as igan, I will buy igan again. Two small changes IGAN. I’ll be glad to be a test case for my suggested design changes. ;-)

High quality material! Designed to last!
(4/1/25)If you’re looking for a high-quality generator cover, this one is worth every penny. Made from durable, weather-resistant material, it provides excellent protection against rain, snow, dust, and UV rays. The fabric is thick and waterproof, ensuring that your generator stays dry even during heavy storms. As I prepare for another 24hr storm I will come back with an update!(4/3/25) UPDATE: worth the buy! Cover kept my generator dry. I was able to run the generator while keeping the side rolled up. Very impressed.

Easy to install
Purchased this to cover a Generac 7500E, and it fits perfectly. There is some assembly required, but it's simple, requiring no tools and just takes a few minutes. Assembly instructions are as clear as any I have ever seen, with large photos showing every step. The cover is a heavy material like a heavy tarp. It has velcro enclosures and tie-downs with overlap that should be sufficient to protect the Generator from the elements. I like how the top half flips open so you can refill the generator easily without removing the cover. The front flap lifts up so you can raise the handle to move the generator. It's a well-built and well-designed cover, an inexpensive protection for your investment.

Great cover for my needs.
This seems like a great design. I previously used another popular running cover for my portable emergency generator. That one was not designed for long-term storage or even moderate long-term (e.g. weeks) exposure to the elements and quickly degraded when left out...rubber and elastic parts becoming dried out and useless. The IGAN cover looks to solve both of those problems...it can be left on and tightened down for storage or opened up to run while providing adequte protection from weather. As I assembled, it appeared at first to be flimsy, but assembly was simple and when all together became very solid. Elegant simplicity of design. The assembly instructions aren't great, but it's easy enough and the pics help a lot. It remains to be seen how durable it will be in long-term use. If there is a design change I would suggest, it would be to provide a "middle" setting for the side curtains, especially the one over the electrical panel. Fully "up" exposing the panel would seem to be unsafe in weather; fully "down" requires snaking cables up from below or the curtain laying on the power cable(s). I plan to improvise a solution to this, but it would seem easy enough to build in.
