My theory is to buy the best and if it does not do as described send it back without any hesitation or guilt. When I received it, it was just as ordered. Very easy to setup. Not trying to be gross but this is what I did. I sat the box right next to where he goes in the house. He went there again, right next to the box. I grabbed some paper towels, held him there with me, soaked up the urine and put the paper towels on the grass of the new box, right in the center of the box. I then grabbed him by the collar and drug him onto the box. I then removed the paper towels. I kid you not, he then sniffed the spot where the towels were and urinated on that very spot. The true test was what would happen next time, would he go to the box? He did. In the beginning, he would only urinate there but now does #1 & #2. I praise him and give him a biscuit each and every time he goes there. Have there been accidents? Yes, but far and few between. I could not be happier with this product. Not a negative but the clips do not work. They were off almost immediately and he would carry them around. It doesn't matter for my guy as he doesn't get up there and scratch around or do that turning in circles thing, he jumps up, goes and is off. This product works and is worth every penny.
