Extremely Functional
Love this desk! Functions well and love the extra features it comes with. It was extremely easy to build as well - the company did an amazing job creating the instruction manual and labeling all the parts/tools!

Inexpensive Standing Desk - NO WOBBLING!
The desk arrived at my house a day early. I took it to work where I’ll be using it and put it together in about an hour and 15 minutes. I didn’t have help, but it will go much faster with a second person. There’s enough hardware, and extra hardware. The top of the desk comes in two pieces. Most of the screws, except the ones to hold in the height navigator can be screwed in with an Allen wrench. I used a small star screw driver for the keypad (height navigator). There are four presets, which is more than enough for one person, and an up and down arrow. I don’t know what exactly the numbers mean, maybe centimeters, but it goes from 69 to 114 in height. The desk is NOT wobbly at all. I have the 48” one. It’s more than enough space. I do emails and cold calling all day, so I needed enough space for two monitors and a manual way to take notes. The directions are easy to follow. The legs are wobbly and won’t stand up straight on their own because they’re too top heavy, but once you get passed the 2nd or 3rd step then it’s good to go. On the bottom of the instructions it says something about don’t screw in the screws until they’re all started, which basically means put them in enough so they don’t fall out, and then tighten them. If you start on one end and screw all the way in then some of the pieces don’t line up right and you have to start again. The instructions tell you that you can hang the basket and hooks on any side, that it is up to your preference, but I didn’t know what my preference was starting out, so it’s nice you can move them after you’re done. For the record, my preference is to have the basket on the back and the hooks on the right, as that is the side closest to the door of my office, so I can just hang up my purse. I was really worried that the desk would be annoyingly cheap because it was less than $200 and my brother told me good standing desks aren’t less than $600, but this one is great. I had to add an extension cord thing to plug all my stuff in because the desk needs to be plugged into power to work, but it wasn’t a big deal. The basket can hold the electrical for the desk and the extra extension cord. I am very pleased with this purchase and grateful for the reviews of this product because they were all correct! The only thing that is semi-inconvenient is that sometimes when I’m holding the button to move the desk up or down it pauses, but I think that’s just so you get the exact height you want without it going too fast. There is a LOT of styrofoam protecting the pieces of the desk inside the box and you may make a mess of it where ever you set up, but I’ll take it since none of the parts were damaged or unusable. I do think this desk may be hard to transport as is, so it may be beneficial to take the table top off and transport it separately if needed. If you read this far, this is your sign to BUY this! You won’t regret it!

This is great for use as a quilting table
I love this desk. I am using it for my Cutie Breeze Quilting Frame & it fits perfectly. I love that I can adjust the desk if I am standing or sitting. It is made from durable metal, and I am also able to move it as it is not that heavy. It is very stable as well. I would recommend to anyone looking for a desk to use in this capacity.

*UPDATE* ---- Now a satisfied customer ----
Update! March 2023 - SHW finally followed through on their promise to send me a functioning desk. The desk is great and it functions perfectly! Assembly was easy, but I fully recommend having a second person help you put it together. Now that it is set up and working I am very happy. I can see how the seam in the table might be annoying to some, but for me, it is barely noticeable. Overrall, I am very satisfied with the result, even if the process was a bit painful getting there. _____________________________________________________________________________ Original Review: I do NOT recommend this desk because mine arrived non-functioning and customer service was not helpful or supporting. Read on for details: I wish I could say this was a great desk and it worked perfectly, but I never even got past the unboxing. I was so excited about this desk and I am now incredibly disappointed in the product - but more so in the customer service. I was one of the unlucky few who received my desk with the motor not appropriately assembled. Luckily I found this error before I assembled the whole desk! In the attached photos you can clearly see the motor is not fully assembled and is just hanging loose. I have no idea how this passed any sort of quality control (or perhaps it didn't even go through it?), but the motor is very clearly hanging loose and not functional. I tried to see if there was any way for me to install my own screws to secure it, but the way it is built there is no way to get the screws in where they need to fit. After attempting to MacGyver it and not finding a solution, I reached out to Customer Service at [email protected]. Initially, they were very responsive and told me they were sorry for the inconvenience and they would be happy to replace the part. They asked me to provide my Amazon order number and a photo of the LED panel to verify the model of my desk and they would send a part. This information was provided and I have heard nothing since then. It has been nearly a month since I provided the information and I have followed up several times with NO RESPONSE from the manufacturer. I can only assume at this point that they were stringing me along to try to run out my return window. I was initially impressed with the desk, but the Customer Service has been so disappointing that I would not recommend purchasing anything from this manufacturer. It seems that some others have had better luck than myself, but honestly - save yourself the hassle and buy another desk from a manufacturer that actually backs their product.

So worth it !!
I am not one to leave reviews for stuff, whether I like them or not. But THIS, I just had to! I LOVE IT !! I bought this last Saturday, and loved the fact it was available next day Sunday! Set it up the same day just a few days ago and made these videos. Assembly was pretty easy! Just make sure you also have your own screwdriver kit in handy. You’ll only need it once. But mines came in great condition. Everything working. Got a 55” black. Love the material. I’m 5’4 and this table goes up so high!!! Like dang! And I’ve seen people say how it’s slow to go up and down. No it is not. It’s a perfect “speed” , why would you want to have something go fast when that’s how things damage? It’s not slow at all ! I just love it overall I literally have no complaints!

(Updated review) Great desk (5 year review included)
1/29/21 Update This is my third update after owning 9 month. During my first review, i gave 5 stars, then lowered to 2 stars on my second update, which, in hindsight was a bit harsh. Now I'm raising to 5 stars again because after only 1 minor cosmetic issue, this is still the cheapest option for this type of desk. So here's my quick thoughts after 9 months. -Still love it, the motor works fine -The desk material is not too durable, but as long as you are gentle, it should be fine. for everyday typing and writing. -Some people seem to have issues with the motor burning out. This didn't happen to me, so I can't speak to that, looks like just unfortunate luck for some people -some people complain about the desk wobbling when you type but this doesn't happen for me, but I'm also a light typer ------------------------------------- 7/1/20 Update, 3 months later - I'm leaving my original review below, because everything is still true. This is a great desk for the most part, however, there's one huge flaw that happened today. I was taping a package and left a piece of packing tape attached to the desk. It wasn't even attached that firmly. After a few minutes, I pulled the piece of tape up and it took the whole corner of the desk laminate with it. As mentioned below, I was ok with a laminate desk for the price, but was shocked by how outrageously thin the laminate is. It's like... thinner than a piece of paper (view photo). It makes Ikea quality look like West Elm. Otherwise great desk, but because of such a huge flaw, i'm bumping it from 5 to 2 stars since it's still usable. Just be really careful about putting anything with a slight adhesive against the surface ----------------------------------------------------- As a tech employee who has used many standing desks, I really like this, especially for the low cost. Instead of pros-cons, I though I'd address all the complaints in other reviews and give some insight to help buyers make a decision. The only thing I can't speak to is the longevity since I've only had it about a month or the customer service since I haven't needed to contact them. Concerns found in other reviews: Desk is cheap material - Ok, please be realistic. for sub-$300 you are NOT going to find a sit/stand desk made out of solid wood. You're not even going to find a standard desk made out of solid wood. Get over it. As of May 2020, my color doesn't appear available anymore, but it's a white frame with a ashy grayish beechwood that looks good for being synthetic. Yes, there are a lot of 1 star reviews of the outer layer arriving damaged. I mean, if your desk arrives damaged, not really the companies fault. And unfortunately, once particle board is damaged, it's looks pretty bad. Just return yours if it's damaged and be extra careful not to scratch it once it's built. You should be using this desk for computer work, not home improvement projects. The edges of the desk are sharp - yes that's true, but it only hurts if you rest your arm for like 30 seconds or more. But for real, it's really bad posture to rest your arm on the corner of a desk so maybe don't do that. Parts missing/difficult to assemble - Missing parts are unfortunate but it happens sometimes with Amazon orders. As far as difficult to assemble, if you've put together a piece of ikea furniture, you'll be fine. 95% of it can be assembled with included allen wrench. I did it alone in about 40 minutes. Exposed motor - Some of the more expensive desks do a better job at hiding the motor. but who cares. Nobody has mentioned anything on mine. It's loud - I've used several sit/stand desks. Most of them make noise. This one is not loud. Not sure how I can describe it. Maybe like an electric toothbrush while it's adjusting. Programmable settings don't work - as of 5/1/20 the instructions on the listing appear to be incorrect, but after you create a setting, you have to double-tap the number to make it adjust. pressing it once won't do anything. Desktop comes in two pieces and looks cheap - Yes, the desk comes in two pieces, but no one has noticed at all and it doesn't bother me. Would prefer one piece, but hey, this is by far the least expensive sit/stand desk so it's not really a big deal. Besides, most of your monitors or other equipment should be covering the crease. 5/8/25 update. Well it’s been 5 years. Everything works great. Motor is fine. No bowing/warpkmg. still looks good. My original critique, don’t use adhesives or it will pull the veneer off easily. The edges are a little sharp so I covered it with a mat to protect my wrists. Might not bother most people. Bonus: add some casters and this desk fits through list doorways if you need to move it to a different room!

Great Electric Desk
I love this electric desk! It was easier to assemble than I expected and the quality is great for what I paid for it. I've been using it for almost a week now without issue, and it changes height smoothly. It works great with my walking pad beneath it so I can get some steps in while I work, and the drawer is a nice feature for extra storage. Highly recommend!

Very nice desk, (almost) perfect
First off, I really like this desk. It looks nice and is built well, and it feels like it's higher quality than you would expect from the price. Here are the two things you probably care about most: Setup - It's pretty easy to setup. Admittedly, I've put together a lot of desks for home and work, so I have a pretty good system, but it took me less than an hour to completely unpack and assemble the desk. I was able to do everything by myself, although I needed help moving the desk. There are times during setup that it would have been nice to have a second person, but not many times. Motor - The motor works well and can lift a reasonable weight. I bought this desk largely because I bought a different, pneumatic desk without checking the weird recommendations, and quickly found out that it wasn't made to have 3 monitors on it. This desk is much better, and easily lifts my monitors. There are a few things that could be better. However, none of these made me feel like the desk didn't deserve 5 stars. 1. The motor is a bit slow. Others have noted this. This didn't bother me at all, but if you want a desk that raises quickly, you're going to need to spend a lot more. 2. The desktop comes in two pieces. Again, others have noted this, and I don't think it's a big deal, but it might be for some. 3. The power cables are not secure (I'm talking about the cables that came with the desk, not cables for my monitors and such). This one bothered me the most, and I think that if the rest of the desk wasn't so nice, I wouldn't have noticed, but since the desk feels like it's high quality, the cable issue really stands out. There are two problems. The first is that the cables are too long, so they either hang down and are easy to get your legs tangled in, or you have to find some way to secure them. I used tape, but to my point earlier, it makes it feel cheap and like they didn't think it through. The second problem is that there's a tray to hold the power adapter, and it is underneath in the middle of the desk. Again, it's easy to kick if you're shifting your legs. This one is more irritating though, because the tray is connected to the desk by two tiny hooks, so when you kick it, the whole thing falls off. It reminds me a bit of that old board game Mouse Trap - just a tiny bump and the whole thing comes crashing down. Similar to the cable issue, I put some tape over the hooks, and now it doesn't fall off, but it really cheapens the whole thing. If it wasn't for the cable / tray issues, this desk would feel like an amazing steal. Instead, it feels like it's exactly what you're paying for. But since those issues are easily resolved by just some tape that you can't see unless you're under the desk, I would absolutely buy this again and am very happy with the purchase.

I surprised by quality and design, it is great!
I recently bought this desk, and I must say, I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The desk boasts excellent quality, strength, and ease of setup. The build quality of the desk is impressive, providing a sturdy and reliable foundation for all my work needs. I appreciate the attention to detail and durability, as it gives me confidence that this desk will last for a long time. Setting up the desk was a breeze. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, allowing me to assemble it without any hassle. Within a short time, I had a fully functional and adjustable workspace, ready to accommodate my changing needs. Furthermore, I want to commend the shipping process. The desk arrived promptly and was well-packaged, ensuring its protection during transit. I was pleased to receive it in such a well-mannered condition. Overall, I highly recommend the Amazon Adjustable Desk to anyone in need of a reliable, sturdy, and easy-to-assemble workspace. Its excellent quality, strength, and hassle-free setup have truly exceeded my expectations. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Great desk, dont forget a phillips screwdriver
I love this desk, it's exactly what I wanted, and just the size I needed for my small space. It feels sturdier than I expected. I saw some reviews about the wood desk top piece coming in two sections, this is no longer the case, it's one solid piece now. I also saw complaints about the packaging, I definitely didn't have this experience, it was packaged very well, with protective corner pieces on the desk to protect it from getting banged up. I love the material of the desk, I think there's a type of solid plastic or something coating it. It feels very solid and strong and resistant to scratching and damage. (I was worried it would be a cheap particle board desk that's easily shredded up but definitely not) There is a tiny little drawer included to hold your pens and sticky notes or whatever, very appreciated. The side hooks as well I found a use for. Make sure to check the lengths of all your cords before raising the desk. It took me by myself a little less than an hour to assemble, trying to be very careful. There's not really any text for the instructions, it's pretty much just pictures. It looks a little overwhelming at first, there were a few confusing parts but if you study the diagram and line everything up to make sense first it's fine. The instructions do say all you'll need is the included allen wrench, but to attach the control panel it's some phillips screws and little screw holes, you definitely need a screwdriver to complete the assembly and that's not provided. There's 4 buttons to save height presets which is awesome, because it takes about 30 seconds to raise or lower the desk and you can just double press the button and it'll raise for you, no need to hold it down. Saving or updating the presets is also super easy, you just put it at the height you want and hold the number button to save it. There's very exact numbers displayed. I'm 5' 6' and the range of height is great, it definitely goes higher and lower than I need and doesn't feel unstable at all. I've attached a video to show how much noise it makes and the rotating motor component. I'm not going to say I'm suddenly the pinnacle of health and focus now that I have a standing desk but one month in I'm still really enjoying having the option to stand up and shake off the sludge of sitting, I still use the standing function multiple times every day so far. If you're an antsy, fidgety person like me you'll really benefit from it. If you care about the health aspect and were disappointed reading those articles saying standing and sitting burn the same amount of calories, I will say I find myself moving and stretching and wiggling around a lot more while standing so that's something. It FEELS like it should burn more calories than sitting. Definitely helps my chronic desk-worker shoulder pains a lot as well. Overall, WELL worth this price. I'm very very happy with it. If you're on the fence, you deserve it. This is a pretty reasonable price for any desk, especially one that moves.
