Q: Would this memory work for the HP Pavilion 15-cs1004na laptop?

I would strongly advise you to check the form factor before purchasing. The form factor of this one is 2280 which is 22mm wide and 80mm long. Ususally laptop M.2 drives are a lot shorter and sometimes wider so have this confirmed before ordering.

Q: The Sn550 1tb is £118 but the faster sn570 1tb is £72 why is the faster one cheaper.

It is probably just pricing fluctuations. The SN550 was altered and appeared to be made slower. Go for the SN570 in my opinion at that price but remember that it uses HMB and both are the cheaper DRAM-less variety. They are pretty good for day-to-day use and I actually own both in different PC's. They are very responsive but slow down on sustained writes.
