well constructed
A very well constructed wrist roller. You will probably use all 3 plates but others can be obtained cheaply if necessary. Results visible after a couple weeks. Really isolates the muscle group. The roller itself is aluminum and really nicely made. pay the extra few bucks and get this model, it is worth it.

Recommend for those serious about building forearms
My humble opinion, you can't build forearms without using something similar to this equipment. As for this particular piece of equipment, it is reasonably priced for what you get. If you are shorter than 5'8" you may find you are raising it above chest level, but I don't think that is as much why not 5 stars as it appears to lack the capacity to expand the weight limit beyond the weights provided.

Power Wrist Roller w/1: grey plates
This has been great. I have carpel tunnel and it was getting worse. My trainer started me on the Power Wrist Roller and it gives me two to three days of relief. Whodda thunk? Last week I had to have eye surgery and was wearing a brace on my CT hand/wrist and one of the nurses asked if I was going to have surgery for that. I told her not as long as I could put it off and I mean that because the Power Roller is definitely working.

Incomplete
This showed up with weights only - no bar, cable, or mount for the weights. Buy from someone with some quality control.

Good, expect dirty hands
Everything is described to by seller except when I got mine and used it, I noticed that a metal black dust kept getting on my hands from the 1 inch bar, it's losing it's shine and becoming more metal. Not sure if this is a defect or bad quality material. It works good but expect dirty hands.

Does the trick - nice value for the price
Does the trick - nice forearm burn. Seems to be sturdy enough for the load. Simple design which is a good thing. If any of the parts wear out they will be easy enough to replace i.e. the rope/strap, plastic bushing, carabineer (sp?). I ordered a few heavier plates and this rig handles them nicely. I'm not an expert but have lifted weights off and on for many years. I think forearms respond better to lighter loads and higher reps so most people won't need to load this equipment with really heavy weights. One small issue that is easily remedied - the bar is slick and will get slicker with palm sweat. This can be a positive in that it works your grip a little bit more. Still, I'll probably end up taping the bar or using some type of resin to increase "tack". At this price point that's not enough to deduct a star. I've seen similar equipment costing quite a bit more.

Works well!
I love this thing; one of the best exercises for your forearms. It seems well-made, and its pretty simple to attach weights. The included weights are a really convenient added bonus.
