Nice quality, easy to install, lightweight, and feels durable

To all those negative reviews saying how it doesn’t fit the canteen cup, it was never meant to! No where on this product does it advertise it nor is that the correct way of bring it. If you are trying to be military like on doing that then just know that military members don’t do that in the first place. This fits the canteen and straps on perfectly. Do not be the person who complains about the canteen cup when this is only meant for the canteen. Overall, it does a great job of doing its job and is very durable. The side pockets are a plus up even though i dont 100% need them but are a good source to have regardless. Already planning on buying another one for our other packs. A must buy if you use it correctly!

This is a good quality pouch, but I give it four stars because I expected it to include a canteen. From the description I did not realize that it did not include a canteen.

Fits the Pathfinder canteen cook set. Pockets for things like water purification tablets or eating utensils.

Really nice pouch. If you're using a stainless steel canteen from Pathfinder. It's a very very snug fit. With the normal crappy plastic canteens it fits perfect. There are two pockets on both sides for stuff like Water Purification and Fire starting.

The clasp seems to be of a cheap plastic, which does not bode well for longevity. I would have paid a little more for a harder-use system I could have been confident in.

Turned out to be too small for my original idea but it's plenty big enough for other stuff. An MRE fits inside with room left over. I'm sure I will find all kinds of other things to use it for. It is made pretty heavy duty and at first I thought it was actually military issue.

Arrived a few days ahead. Well made, perfect for my needs. You can tuck in the top flap. There's a drain hole in bottom. Someone commented that they got the wrong color if you are worried just contact the seller ahead of time

Very good quality canteen pouch. I bought it to replace a very poor fitting pouch that came with a previously bought 2 pint stainless steel canteen and butterfly-handle cup. The stitching is good with no hanging threads inside or out. The material is also good. I like the fact that the interior - including the side-pockets - has a waterproof/resistant lining. Not vital, but a nice touch. The side pockets are big enough to hold sachets of coffee/tea and sugar/saccharine, plus water purification tablets. The only very, very minor complaint I've got is that the elasticated draw-strings are finished off with a simple granny-knot. I've undone the knots on mine and added a wooden bead on each end to make it slightly easier to grab hold of.
