Great machine and customer service!
Incredible customer service! Great machine! I bought my MiaMat used but in good condition. (The machine was perfect, the box was beat up) the only thing was the power cord was missing. I sent an email that evening and I'm the morning found Erik had already replied. He asked for my order number and address, and promptly mailed out a replacement cord. He was super friendly, super helpful and so very responsive. We exchanged a few emails over the course of time from my initial email until the cord arrived, (which was within a couple of days) I couldn't ask for better customer service. I've only used my MiaMat once so far, but it did a great job making soy milk. It was so easy and came out great. Clean up was a breeze. So much easier and better tasting than the stove top, blender method. The strainer did a good job of getting most of the fiber strained out, but not quite all. Next time I will run double strain with a nut bag after the provided strainer. Noise level wasn't bad, less noise than my Vitamix for sure! I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to trying other options. It did come with a recipe book and a card to direct me to a Facebook group which offers great tips on use. I highly recommend the MiaMat for quality, ease of use and great customer service!

Excellent!
I've been using this for quite a while with zero problems. Love it for making almond milk and soy milk. Recipe book is great. Pay attention to clean up instructions, the sooner you clean it the better especially with soy.

Great quality nut milk maker
I'm fairly new to nut milk making. About two years in. I wanted to try making my own nut milk because I have to have soy or anything but cows milk. I got the Kidisle for my first soy maker, good price for a beginner. I used it 2-3 times a week for almost 2 years. Then it died. Looking for a new and improved nut milk maker I narrowed the choices down to 3 brands highest to lowest cost, all with great reviews. Much like Goldie Locks I decided on the middle price range. The MioMat Nut Milk Maker. Unpackaged today, crazy good packaging btw. It's solidly built and really good quality. Super cute with the floral design. The recipe/instruction book included. The book suggested soaking the soybeans which I did right away. Several hours later a followed the recipe in the book and instructions for cleaning the unit right away (actually good advice). After 30 mins and minimal noise, btw, i had really smooth and creamy soy milk. It worked well and preformed as indicated in the description. A touch of honey and I'm all set. Pure soy milk with no additives or ingredients I don't need. Also in the recipe/instruction book they provided customer service info. Brilliant. I am very please with this purchase. Worth every penny.

Love it. Makes great, smooth soymilk with no overflow
I have bought and returned quite a few soy milk machines over the years. I got a good one with excellent self cleaning several years ago that has been discontinued. But, it took up too much counter space so thought I'd try again. After buying a few cheaper machines that did not perform as advertised, and then cleaning up soy-plosions all over my kitchen counters, cupboards, floors, and appliances, I gave in and got the MioMat. I am pleased to say it was worth the money and I am satisfied with the performance. Operation is super simple, it's remarkably quiet, grinds the beans very finely, and produces an overall excellent product - even better than my old workhorse machine. The recipe book is full of interesting ideas. Overall, I highly recommend this machine. I am docking one star for a few reasons. 1. The included filter screen is far too small to be useful. 2. The machine needs an improved cleaning cycle (it's basically pointless). 3. It needs a countdown timer display. I will say, cleanup isn't hard if you do it right away. And, 4. At this price point, especially, the manufacturer should include a cleaning brush. All the other machines I have purchased have included one. Here's a tip for better tasting, less "beany" flavored soymilk: Before using the MioMat, add dried soybeans to about one liter of already boiling water, then boil for five minutes. Turn off heat and let beans soak in the hot water for an hour. The heat deactivates the beany-tasting enzyme and improves the flavor noticeably. I also add about 1/8 - 1/4 tsp baking soda to the boiling water because alkaline water also seems to improve the smell and taste. (But just boiling helps a lot.) Then drain, and add the hot soaked beans and fresh water to the MioMat. Whatever you do, don't soak your beans in cold water as that does the exact opposite and activates the smelly enzyme. I have made soymilk for years directly from unsoaked dried soybeans and it was definitely palatable. But if a bit of beany-ness bothers you, try the boiling method.

Needs MUCH improvement!!!
This is an OK start but it needs MUCH improvement. You cannot make any soup or milk or porage or any other preparation that is less than 1.3 liter, the machine will not work. So if you are only using this for one or two people it's a waste as it produces way too much left over. Once you get the machine started to make milk or soup, there is NO option to pause and open the lid and check on the consistency and progress which is needed especially for soups. This is a disappointing omission. The machine is quite noisy and unstable. For ALL nut milk the strainer provide is absolutely inadequate, it lets too much pulp pass through and you literally have to strain the milk at least 6-7 times to get rid of the pulp. It's honestly completely useless. We have a cloth strain which we bought separately which properly separates the nut pulp and we only have to strain it once. Also the measurements for the cook book provided are COMPLETELY OFF!!! We've had to adapt every single soup and milk recipes. The amount of nuts indicated to make nut milk which require at minimum adding 1.1 L of water, makes at best watery and tasteless nut milk, you have to double the nut quantity for that much water. And again if you add less than 1.1 L of water the machine simply will NOT turn on. And don't follow the follow the soup recipes of you want creamy soups, the ratio vegetables to water to be added results in watery brothy soups. In order to make creamy soups you have to increase the vegetable content by at least 1.5 times what is indicated in the cook book, the down side to that is that it makes a huge batch, way too much for 1-2 people. Had I known all these defects before I would not have bought the MioMat and rather purchased another brand. The one positive is that it's easy to use and clean but overall it's disappointing in terms of function.

I should be a spokesperson for MioMat
I bought this for my sister over a year ago. She lives in Europe and had a very hard time finding an adapter that would work with it, so she brought it back to the states. So it's only now that I finally had time to play with it and I LOVE it. I made soy milk, almond milk, and coconut milk. Each were ready in 20 minutes. I then used the coconut milk to make a yummy sweet potato soup. The whole house smells so good. I bought glass bottles with labels on amazon that look like old-fashioned milk bottles and they have labels to keep track of the dates. I gave some soy milk to my neighbor, and she used it for a latte and said it foamed up so beautifully. I had a hard time finding soy beans that you soak, so I ordered them on Amazon too. It's so nice not to have to buy plant based milks and it's also so nice to not waste cardboard. The recipes are so easy and the instructions are SIMPLE. I'm so happy to have this and am going to try all of the fun recipes. The only down side is that it's a bit noisy. But in a nice way really. And if you make soup, be sure to cut up the potatoes nice and small or they get a bit stuck on the blades. But other than that, definitely a 5 star purchase and worth the money. I might even get another one for my sister, because she now moved back to the states.

Happy Dance Happening in our Kitchen!
Love, love, love!!! The only improvement I can think of would be another version twice the size :) This size makes 1 quart, so it's good for one if you're a milk drinker. My closest Ed**soy vanilla recipe so far is 1 T. Eden Barley Malt, Soy Beans soaked overnight & rinsed well, water to Max. Strain, then run through a good milk bag. Add 2 t. vanilla and sweeten to desired flavor. It just arrived yesterday and I'm about to make batch 4. I've got a bag of almonds on the way too. I'm soooo excited about this :D PS; DO let the motor cool completely between batches. It's a little powerhouse, but it can burnout if it's not allowed proper cooling. Update - 4/4/26 still working Perfectly!! Girl math :) The soymilk I like best is 89.00 for a case of 12 32Oz. 3 gallons. I created a recipe that is super close, and I make a gallon on the days I make it. Sooo, this MioMat paid for itself in 6 days. After that it costs me 20 cents per quart with my added ingredients. I'm going to get another so I can make it in a morning, because with one it takes a full day (while I'm working) if you take the cooling time into account. Hands on time is about 25 min per gallon. I hope MioMat makes a new one that's 64 Oz or gallon sized !!

Excelente compra
Es muy facil de usar, las leches quedan deliciosas. Lo único es que hay que poner más cantidad de la marcada, por lo general pongo el doble o un poquito más. la de coco es mi preferida.

Junk
Guys please don’t go for this local product. It’s not Miomat. It’s a fake product. I don’t know how Amazon has kept these kind of vendors in the system.

Can't get enough!
I had found a local vendor that sold fresh almond milk and after tasting it I knew I could never go back to drinking the thick water that is passed off as almond milk in grocery stores. However the price of buying it fresh was more then I could sustain. That's when I started to look for ways to make it myself. I found the Miomat and it seemed like a good entry point into the plant milk game. WOW! I make milk several times a week with this device. It is so easy and so delicious. I have 9 kids so it has been approved by adults, teenagers, kids and toddlers. Everybody drinks it. I have found great success in making almond and cashew milk, but our favourite is soy milk. It comes out so thick and delicious and we used the soy bean pulp to make brownies which are delicious and full of protein due to the soy bean pulp. You have to wait an hour for the machine to cool down after making soy milk so I ended up buying a second Miomat so I could make 2 jugs at once. I have no regrets! Pros: -Makes perfect milk every time -Easy to use -Easy to clean (if done right away) -Easy to store (it's similar to storing a kettle) -It comes with a book that has really clear instructions that if you follow them you will have no problems. -Excellent customer service. I had a question about my machine and I got a response the same day and they were very friendly and helpful. -The noise is not too loud. I can run it first thing in the morning and it doesn't wake up the kids or baby...and of course the teenagers, but they would sleep through a hurricane in the mornings :D Cons: -There is no pause function or progress bar (this is really just a convenience thing, the book says how long each milk takes, but if you don't look at the time when you start making it you just have to guess when it's going to be done) If you are unsure if you should get this machine it's worth a try. It's not some fancy kitchen tool that you only use once in a while, it's been used several times a week for a whole year now, and I don't have any reason to stop! Just buy it. you'll love it!! Update: January 2025 - I have had two of these machines for two years now and they are both still going strong. I make soy milk 3-4 times a week and I have had no problems whatsoever!

This is the one
I had purchased another machine from another supplier before this that was more expensive and didn’t offer as many options. It broke within 2 weeks and I sent it back and then got the MioMat. Liked that it was more established and reviews were good. I will update this when I have it longer but so far I’m delighted. It is so easy to use and the build is solid and straightforward. Very easy to clean and it is a nice looking piece of equipment that doesn’t take up oodles of counter space. Customer service also very good. It came with a recipe book and I had a question re barista milk and they got back to me super quickly. I would say this is a great buy. It’s not cheap but it’s also not the most expensive one out there and so far I think it’s brilliant value for money. Update: I said I’d post an update after some use. I’ve had this 5 months now and am still delighted. I use this twice a week. Mostly to make oat milk but I’ve also made soup in it. This was worth every penny I spent on it. Still delighted with it.

Not just awesome for making milk! So versatile!
This milk maker is expensive, yes, but you get a lot for your money. It comes with a little book full of recipes for different milks, smoothies, soups and porridges. I mostly bought it to make soy milk, but have now tried several different milks using cashews, coconut, millet, almonds, rice and oats and all of them turned out great. While a small strainer is provided, it is pretty useless if you are sensitive to itty bitty grits in your beverage., they go just through. I strain all my milks through a nutmilk bag. It is very easy to clean and if you stow it away in one of your kitchen cupboards it does not take any real estate on your counters. You make 1.2 l at once, which is great for a family that uses plant milk regularly. A point that I think is very important as you use a lot of heat during the process, is that all surfaces that come into contact with your milk/porridge/soup are metal and not plastic. I also have the Chefwave Milkmade and even though I really like that machine as well, in all of the points I mentioned above it falls very short compared to the MioMat. It only makes milk (well, its name is MILKmade), you also have to strain the milk, you can not stow it away while not in use, as it is pretty big and heavy, so it stays on your kitchen counter, your max amount of milk you can make is around 600 ml at once and the process chamber, the water reservoir and most probably the interior tubes are made of plastic. For cleaning, you have to clean the milk pitcher, the process chamber (which is pretty small and not easy to really clean thoroughly - especially in that little nook where the blade protrude into the chamber). An advantage though is that with the Milkmade you can also make a smaller batch of 300 ml, one disadvantage of the MioMat, that can only make 1.2 litres not more not less. However, if you have such a machine like the Milkmade sitting on your kitchen counter 24/7 I kind of doubt that you would only make 300 ml of milk at once. But I might be wrong. Both machines are pretty noisy which is not surprising, they are blenders. I am very happy with the MioMat and use it every day for something. I am not regretting my purchase at all, despite the price!
