Awesome product and fast delivery! We recently bought an older farmhouse and the bathroom shower was set up as a slide bar only shower. The water supply connection out of the wall is chest height; not your typical above the head shower tube. The hose holder was missing on the slide bar and there was a generic plastic holder screwed into the wall. The problem was, the holder was too big for the hose and the shower head kept falling out when the water was turned on.Most all hand held shower hose holders only fit the slide bar system that you buy. Our problem was, most replacement holders only fit 1" diameter slide bars and ours is only 3/4" diameter. Short of tearing out the wall and replumbing or buying a whole new setup that could run between $150-$350, we found this little gem. At the price it's a no brainer. Works great and there are TWO of them for an extra. Loving our shower now.So short of tearing out the shower wall and replumbing, we had to find a replacement holder. We thought our only option was to buy a whole new shower bar system. A good new one can run between $150-$400.Then we found this little gem. It fits our smaller bar as well as 1". For the price, it was a no brainer. It works great and there are TWO in the package for an extra.

It's not great but it works for what I needed. We have a 5 year old that does not like water in her face, so we got this to lower the handheld shower nozzle to head height for a little. It cannot be tightened enough to not turn on the vertical bar, but we have it as low on the bar as possible, so worst case the shower head will fit the wall if my little one is being silly. The cutout that holds the shower head rotates, so that is actually awesome as it allows us to pivot the head out of the way when grown ups need to shower.

Nope it is not "universal". My standard Costo-bought Waterpik handle does not fit into the groove. Only the hose fits and then hangs limply and /or requires constant juggling to stay in one place.The slot where the handle should slot into is just not wide enough.

I don't understand why people are having difficulty with these, I bought a pair over a year ago and no problems!! An OEM replacement was a huge pain to find and much more expensive. This set allows one for me and one for my (foot shorter) wife to each have a height setting. I wish that the one wasn't yellow, but whatever :)

It's OK. Plastic, and tightens by hand. A little awkward, but as far as I can tell nobody else makes anything quite like this. If you need to attach a wand hook to an existing pipe, this is the one.

Purchased a DMI hand held sliding shower head from Amazon in Sept of 2014. Purchased this product to replace the broken holder and these work perfectly! I dare say that these are a better quality than the one that came with the original purchase! Very easy to install and to adjust for family members of different heights!

Excellent hold and swivel. Little tight to unlock to shift up and down.
