Pure Himalayan Salt ~ Gourmet Crystal Rock ~ 2 Pounds Imported By Pure Salt

I wasn't exactly sure what I was getting into with this, so I will say 'my bad' on ordering salt this size, but that's not why I dropped a couple of stars. The picture shows a much darker pink and nearly red pieces, but the salt I received was mostly very light pink with a few practically clear pieces. It's not a big deal since I was only buying it to put in home made bath salts anyway, but I was hoping for a bit more contrast with the rest of the ingredients. Other than that it was fine. As to the size issue, like I said I wasn't sure what to expect, so I ended up just crushing it with my own mortar/pestle to achieve what I wanted. Nothing against the seller on that - it is kind of neat to have around if you're looking for something decorative.

Goodness in a bag. salt chubnks are bit larger than a golf ball. I have a rock down be my cat's water bowl to see if she will use it as a salt kick. Amazing flavor and grated off of another chunk for the risotto dinner tonight. I am a huge fan of Himalayan salt. I was diagnosed with valley fever and decided no way is that going to consume me. I bought a nebulizer and mixed in diluted Himalayan salt for breathing treatments and darned if that did not kill off the crud. Dr. said valley fever was either a lab mistake or the breathing treatment worked. I think most disease is a result of sugar and fungus overgrowth so salt is a perfect remedy. There is a ton of research so read for yourself and try to not go to sites on the internet that are not evidenced based.

If you like salt in you bath then you will love these. My only complaint is they are rather large but that doesn't stop my from using them in a tube full of hot water. To melt away all you troubles. I would not drop this in my tub they are heavy large rocks of salt.

Drop one In my bath and have used as deoderant. The possibilities are endless!
