The pads are soft, comfortable against the skin, and do a great job reducing irritation from wearing a CPAP mask. The thickness of the pads also helps create a strong seal around the mask, which can be beneficial for preventing leaks. In terms of performance, the pads were very effective. In fact, they may have been a little too effective for my needs. The improved seal seemed to increase the pressure and tightness of the mask, and over time, I found it uncomfortable. Eventually, the pressure buildup became too much for me, and I felt the need to remove the mask during the night. I can see these pads being a great solution for CPAP users who struggle with leaks or skin irritation. Unfortunately, while they improved the seal and comfort of the mask, the increased pressure made them difficult for me to use it long-term.
