does this work on 5D diamond paintings?

This item is specifically designed for clay items that will be fired in a kiln. We not suggest that they would use this over the diamond paintings.

Can any one advise...I have fired to cone 6, and it seems fine, is there a typo on this discription, or a reason not to fire to cone 6????
