Though it's very light weight, I use it for autumn or winter. It has a very deep, square neck. Though it's pretty, I'd have preferred it higher and warmer.

I use these nightdresses for sleeping in or when I am just having a lazy day. They fit perfectly well and I got my normal size. They go below my knees so are quite long. The colours look the same as how they looked on the pictures. I have washed them numerous times now and been in the tumble dryer and they have not shrunk which I find alot of other nightdresses do. They have kept their colour after being in the wash. The only issue I have regarding them is the lace on my arms really make my arms itch which can be quite irritating.

Just what I wanted Everthing good

I ordered two nighties for the winter. They look nice, but as my size 12 - 14 falls inbetween the 10 - 12 M and the 14 - 16 L, I was unsure which size to order. After checking the reviews and sizing, and checking with the Seller as to whether it was pre-shrunk cotton or not and therefore whether it might shrink slightly with washing, I was advised that the material is single cotton jersey and not pre-shrunk. I therefore ordered the larger size. When they arrived and I tried them on they were huge around the shoulders and the neckline far too low on the bust and leaving quite a large gap which is a bit chilly in winter and the shoulders were a bit too wide on me. I contacted the Seller who suggested I wash and steam-iron and that they should then be "perfect". After washing and drying and trying on again, they fit a little better - fine around the body and on the arms but the neckline was still too wide and the frontage too low on the bust. Not entirely suitable as a winter nightie. However, they are pretty and elegant if you have the right body shape. I think the large size would be best on someone with an ample bust and wide shoulders and a short neck. My shoulders are on the narrow side and I have a long neck - not ideal for a plunging neckline. If you want a longer nightie, the length is fine. The sleeves fit well after washing, so I suspect if I had bought the smaller size, whereas the neck and shoulders might have fit better, upon washing, the sleeves may have been a tad too tight possibly. If you have a lot of arm muscle, then don't go too small in case the sleeves become too tight after washing. Some reviewers said their nighties did not shrink, whereas mine shrunk about an inch (which is what I intended as advised by the seller). It may be that this style of nightie does not suit someone with narrow shoulders and a long neck and fat arms, or go a size larger if you like plunging necklines. For myself, I will either have to stitch a panel behind the lace to bring up the neckline or return, as although nice, they don't fit ideally in the large size.
