Great solid bed
I wanted a bed that was sturdy with a higher weight limit. Our last he'd had 3 wood slats which didn't hold up well to kids playing and adults. This bed is very sturdy. I almost put it together by myself but trying to hold it while using the drill needed a second pair of hands at times. Instructions were clear. All the parts were complete with some few extra screw parts which was nice. The finish was clean. I used a drill with an allen wrench adapter which made it so much easier to get a secure fit. We used a box spring but it's not meant to be used with one. The bed is quite high. I will probably remove it. Good storage underneath. I will update if any issues arise.

Very solid vintage style bed frame!
Apologies for the weird angle of the picture- my room is rather small! This bed frame definitely met my expectations for a sturdy vintage style bed that would support my modern memory foam mattress without needing box springs. I know we're all nervous about sight-unseen purchases from Amazon, so I wanted to break this one down a little more thoroughly.Pros:*Great price point for what you get! A regular adjustable bed frame with no slats is around a hundred dollars at W*lM*rt, and that doesn't include a headboard/footboard, so this was a great deal.* Fairly easy assembly! It did take two of us just because of the small space I had to work in. Could probably be done with one person if you had room to prop up the headboard/footboard while you attached them. Did not need any tools that it didn't come with. The instructions were clear to me- definitely pay attention when it says "Don't tighten bed frame initially"- that's printed in big red letters at every step, and was a source of jokes for me and my roommate while we assembled it, but they mean it! The slats won't go in properly if any of the bolts are fully tightened. It stays up and stable during assembly even with the bolts loose, so don't worry about that. All of the necessary parts were there, and they even give an extra of every bolt/washer/allen wrench.* Sturdy and quiet! The description doesn't lie about the foam pieces under the slats keeping it quiet and comfortable. No movement at all with me and my 60lb dog on and off of it.Cons:I will preface this section with this disclaimer- these aren't hard nos for me. Just a little bit of pickiness for anyone who may be a perfectionist. :P* One of the headboard legs was a darker color than the rest of the frame. The headboard and footboard are the same size, so the headboard comes with two legs that you bolt to it to raise it up. One leg was a darker, more brownish bronze than the rest which was a more reddish bronze (which I loved). I just put it on the side that goes against the wall. No big. Likely just a different lot of paint.* Two of the bolts didn't thread properly. But that's ok- they give you extras!* There was a scrape in the paint on the top of the headboard from shipping. It was packed very well, but things happen. It isn't huge and there's no dent, so I can touch it up with some textured Rustoleum paint of the same color.* One of the slats didn't fit quite perfectly in the slot. All of the others felt like they "clicked" in and were flush with the frame, but one sticks up just a hair. We confirmed it was the slat itself and not the plastic it fits into in the frame, but the amount it sticks up is not an issue.Overall I LOVE it. It fits my simple but vintage furniture style so well, and I don't feel like I'm going to break it. I hope this helps!!

Nice bed for the price!
I read so many reviews of inexpensive metal bed frames before I ordered... but this one seemed to have better, more thoughtful reviews so I took a chance on it... and glad I did.The bed arrived promptly and the box was in good shape. There was no damage to any of the bed pieces, and all the hardware was there including pretty good instructions. There were even a couple extra pieces of the most critical hardware items. Included were the allen wrenches and a spanner wrench needed for assembly... and everything was really wrapped well. In fact... it took quite a while to unwrap all the pieces! With my brother helping, we put the bed together in about an hour. It wasn't hard, you just need to study the instructions and pay attention. Although some of the construction seems a bit complicated for what it does... I guess it all comes down to how can they make something like this fit in such a small box?The metal was quite sturdy for this kind of product, and I suspect it will hold up pretty well too. The critical bolts all had compression rings, and the washers were all lock washers, so clearly the manufacturer spent an extra buck for better and better-designed hardware.I modified this bed in two ways: first, I painted it. The delivered color is a quite reddish, shiny copper finish. It was just way too pretty so I misted the headboard, footboard, and slide rails (didn't bother with all the slats as they won't show) with a dark brown matte spray paint I had, then a super light dusting of black, then a little more matte brown. This just served to take the shine off the copper-looking new bed, and give it a more vintage feel. I held the spray can a couple feet from the pieces and swiped right and left to let the paint just gently settle on the metal... it worked well and took maybe 30 minutes total including flipping the pieces a couple times to get that paint mist everywhere. The other thing I did, which I do to every piece of furniture that comes in the house, is to add protective felt circles to all the legs on the bed. I use a drop of superglue to get them to stick better than the peel-n-stick provided... even if you aren't moving furniture often to clean, you don't want the various metal legs on a bed like this to, over time, dig any kind of hole in your flooring material.Overall- this looks like a great value in a metal bed. It was reasonable to assemble, arrived perfect, and feels a bit heftier than I expected. It now has a great vintage look with my spray paint upgrade, and I think it will be a good sturdy bedframe for years ahead. Recommended... especially for the price!

Beautiful bed for the money!
The bed looks very classy and seems well made. Everything arrived packaged so well it took more time to unwrap the pieces than it did to put the bed together. Very straight forward and easy to follow directions. I did have help but probably could have put it together alone.
