I love these cups!!!! My boyfriend wanted cups with lids to prevent pet hair from floating into our drinks when the cats decide to sprint across the table uninvited or the dog shakes out her coat and these work perfectly. The matte finish feels really sleek and it looks great. I got the multicolor pack of 8 and I love the colors. They do require hand washing so I was worried the finish wouldn't last after scrubbing with my steel wool sponge but they still look smooth and sleek. Very happy with the purchase! (Especially because I no longer have to deal with a huffy puffy boyfriend who thinks he saw a pet hair in his drink). I made hot tea the other day and it stayed hot the entire time I used it and the insulation kept the cup cool enough to hold without burning myself. I also made iced tea and it worked well for that. But these cups are NOT leak proof, so if you want it for that purpose I suggest something else. Yes, they decrease the mess of a full-blown spill, but I did get splashed through the straw while getting into the car too fast with my tea.
