You have to love how the furnace only ones to have issues in the coldest days of winter. That is exactly what happened to me. No one near me carried what I need and to order it would not only be more expensive but take even longer so I turned to Amazon as I always do to get what I need the quickest. The first thing you may notice if you’re looking at this is it may not look exactly like yours. My original had to prongs that come out and connect at the tip, don’t worry, this is the correct one for that. It arrived to me in two days and installed in seconds. I would highly recommend this and even ordering a back up in case you experience the same issue in the future.

Did the job! Perfect match. First part that arrived was broken when the package was opened. Initiated exchange process and the new part arrived the very next day. Quick change out and solved the issue. Furnace was back up and kicking out heat within 10 minutes of the part arriving. This was well appreciated by my family who had to endure the cold for a couple of days. Would order again.

The part fit perfectly and has been in service with no issues. I tried a universal ignitor and it didn't work reliably. I wish I had seen this item before I went that route

My original was a Norton 601TB that failed. I believe the second part of the 601T numbers are a date code that doesn't matter. The replacement that was sent looks different. It was solid instead of having a hollow part in the metal and has a shorter exposed metal part. The installation was a bit of a pain, but so was the removal of the original. It partially sat behind the gas valve, but that isn't the igniters fault. It had some extra parts that weren't used in my case. There was a bracket and plug adapter that I didn't need. It fit the existing hole and upon turning everything back on, the igniter turned red and lit the burners. Everything has been working for a little over a month with daily use, so I can't complain.

This product is not as shown, which means more cold nights in this home. Aggravated doesn’t begin to describe how I feel. As a mechanics daughter who has spent plenty of days service writing and ordering parts for his shop, I know that sometimes you won’t get the exact same part. In those cases you measure and compare pictures. I did as much and was happy to find the part I needed for my furnace. Two cold nights later, and the part arrives. NOT the same as pictured. No refund until up to seven days after the return is received, and I’m having to start the search again for the part I need. Given it’s Sunday, that means at least one more night, however since I’ve already tried all but ONE hardware store here and no one has it I’m sure it’ll be more then that. Could it be interchangeable with the part pictured? Possibly, but idk if it is or not and I can get a strait answer anywhere I look. Not what’s pictured, not at all happy. Anyone who sells parts knows accurate pictures as VITAL, makes me think it’s shady.

As I said it looks similar to the one advertaised in the picture, but has no gap in the middle of the black element (see a middle picture). Is it a big deal? Should I call it a misrepresentation? I don't know. I hope not, because it has the same Goodman part number 20165703S.
