Tried a few of these kits, but this seems to be the best I have found for my 5 year old niece. A nice variety of experiments that are fun and informative.The usual volcanos and stuff, but also some more stuff that I never expected that is great for her to learn. UV experiments for example with colour changing beads so you can see how sun cream works and how sun still passes through the clouds.Really enjoying running through these.

Hi my son is 4 years old I brought this for him and myself to originally just to mess about with. This isn't gender specific and would appeal to both. He loves the little experiments. Especially the volcanoes. All need adult supervision. But kids will love it. Just needed to persuade him you cant do this in the bath! Everything you need is in the kit. If more supplies are needed most of the items can be found in the home already.All the experiments have only a handful of ingredients so all very straight forward. You'll be impressed with the results and may wish to keep it yourself. Is a great introduction to science.

Made a lovely gift

A very realistic science kit for an adventurous young boy, the volcano was very realistic and I am pleased to say that aeroplanes are now again operating normally from Gatwick airport. Repairs to the house are on schedule.Joking apart it’s great fun and something all the family can enjoy and participate in, well worth the money.

Great product. Lots included so I think it was a good price. Very sturdy and my son loves doing the experiments which he can do more than once. Easy instructions to follow too

Good for a my son's first science set, yet a bit too much irrelevant text in the book. And I found to do a few experiments in a go, I had to keep washing up apparatus, a lot, to do the next experiment. Overall OK.

I brought this Science Kit for my friend's 8 year old son and he absolutely loves it, he loves everything about it but his favourite part is the volcanoes. Thank you for all the time, effort & thought that went into it!I recommend this product & will be buying it again for any future gifts.
