This card was easy to install and configure.The performance is alot better compared to some other cards I've tried, and was very impressed.It is now being used as to controll raid 0 with 2 SSD drives on MSSQL database and performance is 200-400% better than what it used to be with a normal hard drive and and a basic sata controller, and around 200% improvement with just this card replacing the more basic sata controller even with SSD drives.I'd highly recommend this controller card if you dont have a pci express slot.

64 bit only, will not work with 32 bit slot
Most 64 bit cards will connect to a 32 bit PCIE slot, just dropping the last 32 lines to the bus. Not this card, it is a paperweight and I have not use for it.

Everything as expected.
Purchased for a server with a PCI-X connector after incorrectly purchasing a PCI-e card. Controller works as expected. Manual easily available online. Can communicate via SAS or SATA.

Nice solution for older servers and SSD drives.
Perfect solution for SSD drives in older servers with PCIx bus. I got 450MB/s transfer after switched off I/O caching. Thank you.But take note - no JBOD for this adapter is available.
