Why did you choose this product over others?:Kenwood is a reliable brand, that's the reason I choosed this hand mixer. I'm using it every day since. Easy and fast to wisk egg white. I'm happy with this.

Does what it's made to do
As a fan of Kenwood products, I purchased this to make do until I can buy one of their (super expensive) stand mixers. At a reasonable price, it works as intended. I've made numerous cakes and cookies with this product, and I've not had an issue.Because it's white, it definitely gets dirty quite quickly and more noticeably, but that's not a big issue. I do wish there were more speed increments, but it's hard to complain when the product is affordable. It's quite powerful on even the first setting, and I've never had to use the top one apart from mixing some bread dough. It comes with bread attachments as well as the whisk attachment, which I eagerly use. Everything is easily cleaned and comes apart without issue.Definitely recommend this to home bakers on a budget.

Kenwood for me once more!
Just tried my new little mixer and it is just perfect for small batch baking. One switch for on, then up through the speed settings. It is a little faster than the one I've discarded but doesn't make that much mess - flour floats anyway with the least bit of 'draught'. I've not tried icing sugar yet but I use a bowl with a cover and hole for the mixer for beating icing. The mess is unavoidable otherwise. What I particularly like is the style of the beaters - the flat metal blade style beaters makes the best job for me. The speed control is spot on for my needs. It is reasonably quiet as mixers go. Lightweight for elderly hands. It whisked up a Victoria Sponge in minutes. Great value for money, delivery safe and quick. For bigger mixes I will have to put my Kenwood Prosper to work. Later: done lots of Christmas baking with no stress - super little mixer.

Great whisk! I have been buying cheap whisks (i.e., supermarket own brands) stupidly. I can see this will last a long time; you get what you pay for
