Will uncooked quinoa grains fall through this strainer?

Just a few of the finest quinoa grains will get through when you first pour it in but I discovered that if you wet the strainer first nothing falls through and when you start the rinse the grains expand enough so nothing escapes.

In what country was this strainer manufactured?

At this price point I would have to say China. Or Korea. Doesn't feel like USA or old world Europe.

Does anyone have any experience straining chicken stock? Does it let any particles through?

I haven't used it on chicken stock, but I have with washing Sushi Rice and making jellies and it doesn't let particles through. If you were really concerned about that I would suggest using a cheesecloth liner as well.

Quality strainer!

Strains quinoa perfectly, without losing a single grain. Works a treat for rice and porridge as well. Super easy to clean too and dries very quickly.
