These are high-quality bins that came exactly as advertised and look nice (for refuse bins).Pros:- Attractive (love the Pewter color)- Sturdy- Step function performs well- Trash bag holder is nice to have- Liners easy to install- Dimensions work well for side-by-side binsCons:- Expensive; I almost bought a motion sensor one for the same price but decided I trust a step-on more for longevity- I wish a single roll of the recommended Glad liners fit into the bag compartment. It only comfortably holds about 5 or 6 and you have to unroll and re-roll them yourself. For that effort alone it basically cancels out the benefit of its existence, since it's probably easier just walking a few feet to the kitchen for a replacement bag.

We bought a different trash can that was bigger like this. Had problems with the lid, not with this one. This is one is right on. The size, quality of material, and it looks great in our kitchen. We have a large household and produce a large amount of trash, the bigger size has been wonderful. Easy to change the bag out and a good price.

5 Stars to the can and also the maker!1) This has worked great in our home and held up for nearly 2 years to a family of 9. That’s durable! It looks good, and the interior “bag trap” brackets are great to keep the bag hidden and snug from getting shoved down when trash is put in.2) When the plastic lid hinge broke I emailed the warranty team for a remedy, and they immediately and courteously sent a whole new can UPS. Amazing! The service team was efficient and kind and followed up multiple times. That’s huge! Great job to the Glad can team!

This can looks so much better than the plastic garbages we had, and it holds a lot more. I like how easy it is to put a new bag in, and to take it out. I like the step design and prefer it over dealing with batteries in an automatic trash can. Overall for the price, function, look and design I highly recommend it.

I was really skeptical after reading reviews and even after I ordered it and I received a broken item (the lid was broken). I was just going to get a refund instead of replacement, but I decided to give it another chance. I really do like it. I couldn't find any other 20 gallon trash cans anywhere. There are a couple things that could be improved. The lid mechanism seems to be all plastic which is concerning. I also wish there was a way to open the lid by hand if needed. Neither of those are deal breakers. The thing that was almost a deal breaker was the price, but I really like it overall. It also seems to actually be fingerprint resistant for real.

Looks great and is just the right size

I love this trash can. The lid is a soft close lid with a foot pedal to open it. It has 2 arms that keep your trash bag in place. It has a storage place in the back for trash bags. Very sturdy. Worth the money.

I got mine slightly used (opened never used) and got the dent out but it’s very sturdy and doesn’t dent easily. It functions great, easy to clean, and the lid closure is perfect and its battery free. For 3 working professionals in a home we needed a trash can that fit our needs as well as our space and the dark color was perfect to keep our aesthetic and our trash long lasting and clean. Overall it was a bit pricy but very much worth the money.

It really does keep the odors contained. Nice and large. easy pedal control. lid slowly closes, doesn't slam shut. esthetically pleasing, pretty upscale or a garbage bin. worth every dollar!

We have a household with 2 adults, 2 adult kids and a teenager. The teen herself generates as much trash as the rest of us combined. We needed a bigger can as we were filling our old one daily and nobody else in my family knows how to change a garbage bag….they would just pile it higher and higher until the garbage fairy (me) magically made it disappear.This trash can is for garbage fairy’s everywhere. I can actually turn my back for a moment without it overflowing. It’s tamperproof for my dog. It has nice little bars that hold the bag open and tuck the edges away neatly. It’s easy to load and unload. Looks decent too. Honestly, I’m a simple man, I don’t need much to make me happy. This trash can helped. Treat yourself. You deserve it!

Seemed kind of pricey when I ordered it, but looking around the box stores near my neighborhood this one looks better and was only slightly more expensive afterall.This is a nice family sized garbage can. Smooth working, sturdy. Was well packaged but unfortunately it still came with a 2 inch dent in the front. Figures. Was too much arse pain to drag the big box down to a post office for return so kept it anyway. Will be dented more by life soon enough.

Amazing. We now remove the bag after 2 days of filling. We used to have a ~40L oval garbage can and usually remove the bag after 1/2 a day, which would sit on the floor. We use the big industrial bags from Costco. This GLAD can just keeps filling. I removed the bag after almost 3 days. Something that has never happened in our house of 6 people. It looks good (dark stainless steel), it hides the bag and it has rubber under so you can step on the pedal and it doesn't slip away. It's big, but but not crazy.

This garbage randomly broke within a year.I would still recommend this garbage as it is very great in a kitchen setting
