I have no way to measure the exact decibel level. I’d say not quite as loud as a referee’s whistle. If your listening for it with good hearing, you should be able to clearly hear it up to a half mile or so, depending on the environment you are in. I use them for getting a golf car through large crowds at concerts, fairs and sporting events. Also aquatic non motorized transport. Hiking and hunting too. A good safety tool to have near you everywhere you go. Handier than a pocket on a shirt if you need it. Hope this helps. Sorry I didn’t exactly know more about the level of noise.
