Brass Sport Fountain Pen

This solid brass fountain pen is a beautiful workhorse. It is now my new, daily fountain-writer. I'm impressed with the milling, the weight, and its smoothness. It's, maybe, 3 millimeters shorter than would be ideal for me - and my large hands - but, they did it perfectly for pocket-carry. This is a great product.

This pen writes so smooth, not scratchy and is just an amazingly good pen. I opened it and installed the included ink cartridge and it worked perfectly from the get go with zero problems. It instantly became one of my most favorite pens. I did order a clip for it thinking it would help keep it from rolling around. Turns out since the cap is faceted that was completely unnecessary but it looks great on the pen so I'm happy. Kaweco makes very high quality pens.

I love it! Nice weight and this medium nib writes very smooth and wet, but not a gusher, just enough. Using Kaweco palm green ink and it shows shading nicely. The line width is closer to a medium-fine. Line width is thick enough to show ink characteristics and show up well on paper, but narrow enough to be able to still write small. I am amazed how smooth this nib is without any tuning. The cap comes off with just under one turn and posts securely. This is now my EDC pen!

This is a gorgeous pen that I love writing with. I use it mostly for letter writing and note taking. Note that the weight listed by Amazon for the medium nib and other widths for that matter is incorrect. This is actually a 46g pen when posted (the cap is on) - not 21 as listed. The pen is too short to write unposted (without its cap on), but the balance is perfect with the cap on. A heavy pen is somewhat new for me, but I found that the heavier weight means I do not have to grip it as tightly and I adjusted very quickly. Also, the heavier weigh helps my penmanship. I opted to get a special ink (diamine sherwood green) which initially came out fast after filling, but after some writing, the pen produced clean, even lines. Very happy with this purchase. I love the feel of the brass in my hand. It feels like a classic, clean writing implement and I love the design.

Kawecos are frequently a purchase of people newer to fountain pens, but I waited until I'd tried 50 others to buy this one based on a favorite YouTuber praising this pen, AdventureDenali. She bought it to use as an "outdoor" fountain pen that could withstand being dropped/scuffed in the outdoors and I thought that was a great idea, so I picked one up for that purpose hoping it wrote decently, but it surprised me by writing very nicely right out of the box. I got a Medium nib and it's very smooth and not overly wet or venturing into broad territory which is great for me. The nib is almost comically small compared to other fountain pens and many believe this makes for a sub-par writing experience but with this pen I don't think that's true, it writes as well as something 2-3x the price. The heft of the brass is pleasing and would make a great gift for a beginner or experienced fountain pen user.

Good pen but didn’t come with box, it was in a paper envelope with the pen cap just floating around, luckily the nib didn’t bend but maybe I just have adhd but I was looking forward to the cool “Kaweco” tin box. Pen works great tho

This is my favorite fountain pen thus far. I love the look and the heft of it. Has a nice weight to it and the material gives it a rich feel.

This pen is clearly very high quality (especially for the money). It feels heavy in the hand and writes great. A similarly priced Waterman feels plasticky and cheap compared to this pen, despite Waterman's advertising that their pen in this price range (the Waterman Expert) is constructed of metal. My only complaint about this pen is that it comes only with a blue ink cartridge. I can't speak for everyone, but it seems as though most people would prefer black, so why would Kaweco send their pen with only blue ink unless they're trying to force you to spend extra money? That aside, this is a great quality pen, and I doubt I'll ever need to buy another fountain pen. This pen feels extraordinarily solid and well-built, and I expect that it will last for a long time. Do yourself a favor and skip the "big name" luxury pen brands. Get a Kaweco.

Metall-Füllfederhalter wie die von z.B. Kaweco werden keine Probleme haben, die Lebenserwartung ihrer Besitzer zu übertreffen - ganz unabhängig des Alters der Besitzer. Typisch für Kaweco ist leider das Federroulette. Mit Glück erhält man eine ganz vorzügliche Feder (wie ich in diesem Fall) oder aber eine eher trockenschreibende mit mickrigem Tintenfluss. Wie gesagt, dies ist typisch für Kaweco. Auch typisch für Kaweco ist der gute Kundenservice... bei Bedarf mal nachfragen. Ansonsten sind die Federn vergleichsweise günstig (und es passen auch alle Bock 060 Federn - falls einem die Prägung auf der Feder egal ist und man Zugriff auf ein erweitertes Sortiment haben möchte). Bei diesem Füller gilt das recht hohe Gewicht (bei entsprechender Kürze) zu berücksichtigen. Für sehr große oder schwache Hände mag das nicht der richtige Füller sein.

Yıllarca alsam mı dedim. Sonunda aldım. Daha önceden almadığıma pişmanım. M uç aldım, Pelikan F muadili ince yazıyor. Yazışı sorunsuz. Kartuş ufak. Gövde zamanla renk değiştirip çok daha güzel oluyor. Pirinç olduğundan kırılır, çizilir korkusu yok, kalem kutusuna, çantasına gerek yok. At cebe gitsin.

Produto é ótimo, mas comprei uma caneta tinteiro e veio uma lapiseira. Lamentável.
