Swanson L. Reuteri Probiotic with Prebiotic for Gut Health, 7 Billion CFU

I’ve been using these digestive health pills and so far, I’m really happy with them. They’re easy to take, and I’ve noticed that my stomach feels more comfortable and balanced. I also like that they fit easily into my daily routine. Overall, I’m pleased with the experience and would definitely recommend giving them a try if you’re looking for digestive support!

My son recommended this brand for quality, but I went for another "popular" brand because of price. With the other brand, I was up to four tablets per day with no results and when I attempted to make "Dr Davis" yogurt, there was no fermentation after 48 hours. When my "subscription" couldn't be filled (out of stock) I suspected that the other brand had "absconded with the funds" and wouldn't be selling here any longer. So, I got this product and within a day, the results were obvious. I'm making yogurt with it right now and I'll let you know the results.

After taking a certain weekly injection, that helped me lose weight and control my blood sugar. I began having problems with digestion and eliminating. I stopped taking the injection and began researching on how to improve my digestion and how to get back to being a "regular" girl. This has helped me tremendously. It's helped so much that I have it on monthly subscription. I take this and another probiotic. I feel back to my old self. Thank God!

I used this to make a batch of yogurt per Dr. Davis' instructions. Since I don't know which strain this is, I'm not sure if it's going to be beneficial to my lower intestines. It definitely cultivated the yogurt, though. I used my food dehydrator at 98 degrees for 36 hours and my first batch came out absolutely perfect with no whey separation. I've used this as starter for successive batches and they all come out perfect, consistency of a soft serve yogurt, maybe a little thicker. My dehydrator is working really well for this and I can put in 2 of the 32 oz containers at once. I make this yogurt and about 13 hours prior to it being finished, I add a 2nd container of the Greek yogurt I like. I took off 1 star since I couldn't get an answer from Swanson regarding which strain was used. This is the answer I received via email when I inquired: "If no strain has been specified, the strain may vary with market availability but would not be a numbered strain used in a trademarked product. If we use a numbered strain, it will be noted since these have been researched for trademarked products."

My tween daughter has been on this for a few years now as a prescribed supplement from her urologist and it has significantly reduced the number of UTIs she gets and no side effects!

It still works but for how long and how potent? If I had known this expiration date (see picture), I would have reserved a piece from HV Outlets instead, which is "...due in stock December 17." BTW, the expiration date was covered up. Cagey? In short, my other probiotic purchases (different brands and different bacteriae) are already in the later part of 2020. Unlike other probiotic manufacturers, Swanson does not have a written guarantee that the bacteriae will have the same or constant (living) strength to the very end of the expiration date. Nevertheless, the five billion Lactobacillus Reuteri is a major plus for my specific use, the reason why I am giving the purchase a 3-Star, rather than 0-Star. I will buy it again, but next time, I will ask for the expiration date; monitoring the expiration date is extremely important, but I let my guard down, so to speak. Again, it still works. The 3-Star rating is not written in stone, but it shows my current disappointment. UPDATE (2/23/2019): Regarding to my answered question I posted last night (since I'm ready to buy another bottle)..., "6/2019 to 11/2019" expiration date is, again, NOT good considering other brands' expiration dates are in the later part of 2020, or probably 2021. This is year 2019, after all. "Capsules will lose about 5-10% efficacy per month," according to a health store representative. It is the reason why stores put them on sale to get rid of them as soon as possible.

Was searching this strain of gut bacteria in india. Finally got it and it has been working good for my gut. Highly recommend
