After taking a certain weekly injection, that helped me lose weight and control my blood sugar. I began having problems with digestion and eliminating. Naturally easy to swallow. I personally felt 1) digestion in lower gi better! I felt mentally bit quicker, like a small improvement in recall and Maybe some pudgy weight loss? So this is funny, cause I am old, but felt warm kinda affection towards others. I plan on taking this non stop. And make it in yogurt per Dr. Berg, btw great video and how I became familiar with L. Reurteri and this super product. The Capsules are easy to swallow and if one is not able to make it in yogurt, Its the awesome answer. m

I used this to make a batch of yogurt per Dr. Davis' instructions. Since I don't know which strain this is, I'm not sure if it's going to be beneficial to my lower intestines. It definitely cultivated the yogurt, though. I used my food dehydrator at 98 degrees for 36 hours and my first batch came out absolutely perfect with no whey separation. I've used this as starter for successive batches and they all come out perfect, consistency of a soft serve yogurt, maybe a little thicker. My dehydrator is working really well for this and I can put in 2 of the 32 oz containers at once. I make this yogurt and about 13 hours prior to it being finished, I add a 2nd container of the Greek yogurt I like. I took off 1 star since I couldn't get an answer from Swanson regarding which strain was used. This is the answer I received via email when I inquired: "If no strain has been specified, the strain may vary with market availability but would not be a numbered strain used in a trademarked product. If we use a numbered strain, it will be noted since these have been researched for trademarked products."

Clinical studies suggest L. Reuteri to be particularly effective at maintaining or correcting the vaginal flora as compared to other probiotics. Good to take while taking antibiotics to maintain optimal flora (do not take at same time as antibiotic - space it out several hours away). I am not a doctor. This is not medical advice, just my personal experience and research. Please do a search to find the applicable clinical studies.

I made a small batch of yogurt as a starter for doing full / large batches. Ingredients: 2 Capsules of this probiotic, and 1/4 gallon lactose free whole milk. Using a clean instant pot, add 1/4 gallon milk. Press yogurt button a couple times until it says boil. Let it run. When it is finished, put the pot of boiled milk into the sink which has cold water in it, and let the milk cool down to luke warm. I usually check the temp, and this time it cooled to approx. 85 degrees f. Move the milk back to the instant pot machine, and whisk in 2 capsules of probiotic. Press yogurt button again, set timer for 18 hours. I removed the glass lid I use for this a few times and wiped the water off it using a clean paper towel. This was just to help the yogurt to not be too watery. When the time was up, I poured the yogurt into a jam-strainer bag (fine mesh) and let the whey & water drain off for about 1 hour. Then refrigerated. To my surprise, it came out the best I have ever made. I've tried bulgarian cultures (from amazon) and commercial greek yogurt in the past, both of which were pretty good. This L. Reuteri yogurt however, came out rich and full of flavor. It will make a wonderful starter for the next full batch I make! I gave a small bowl of it to my chickens who absolutely LOVED IT and ate every speck they could get. There are published research papers on L. Reuteri describing the health benefits of it.
