If you're interested in my thoughts on this product and how it compares to e.l.f.'s Kohl Eyeliner in the shade Berry Necessary, keep reading.I struggle with eyeliner running and smearing, and since kohl liners are typically designed to smudge, that doesn't exactly work in my favor. I also have slightly oily eyelids due to my skin type. This isn't a flaw specific to e.l.f.'s kohl liners...I have the same issue with many pencil liners, even ones marketed as waterproof. To my surprise, this eyeliner barely smears on me at all. That wasn't even the main selling point, as I'd more or less accepted that most pencil liners would always smudge on me unless they were liquid. What initially caught my attention was the shade Ruby. I also tested the waterproof claim by swatching both Berry Necessary and Ruby on my hand and washing them with regular soap. After about 15 seconds of light rubbing, Berry Necessary was almost completely gone, while Ruby looked practically untouched. I experienced the same results on my eyelids. Several hours after applying Ruby and working an entire shift, it still looked nearly identical to when I first put it on. Better than the panda eyes I typically end up with. What's especially impressive is that it removes easily with micellar water while still standing up to my eyelid oils and a bit of humidity. I love the color of Berry Necessary, but I find that it fades within a few hours. Over time, the pencil also seems to harden, making it more difficult to apply around the eye area. I wanted something with a very similar shade but better longevity, and Ruby delivered exactly that. I was initially worried that Ruby would lean too red and lack the darker dimension that makes a burgundy eyeliner so flattering, but it's exactly what I hoped it would be. Berry Necessary is slightly more purple, while Ruby is slightly more red. However, Ruby is not so red that it looks like a true red eyeliner rather than a burgundy one. I'd estimate it's only about 5% redder than Berry Necessary. For now, I'll use the remainder of my Berry Necessary pencil as a lip liner. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and glad I decided to take a chance on it!I added some photos of the liner on my eyes and the liners in regular + flash lighting.

I was pleasantly surprised by this eyeliner! The Coffee shade is a beautiful rich brown that gives definition without looking as harsh as black. The formula is creamy and glides on easily without tugging at my eyelids, but once it sets, it stays put all day.I have worn it through long days, heat, and even watery eyes, and it holds up really well without smudging. The retractable design is convenient, and I love that I don't have to sharpen it. For the price, the pigmentation and staying power are impressive.If you're looking for an affordable brown eyeliner that is easy to apply, long-lasting, and truly budget-friendly, this one is definitely worth trying.

This product is everything it said it was. Bold color with a retractable eyeliner, so there's no messing about trying to sharpen pencils or having your eyeliner break off in between uses -- or waiting for liquid liner to dry.This eyeliner is very black, and once you apply it, it does not smudge easily. You have to really rub to get it all off.If i had to choose one thing in which people might be disappointed, I would say that it is difficult to get fine lines with this product. So if you're looking for a dramatic effect, this eyeliner is perfect. Still, you can use a brush with it to get thin lines.It's a very nice product for the price and is easy to use. Little drag yet durable. Glamour at a nice price.So I was very happy with my purchase. I would give it 4.5 stars.

Liked them so much I bought three more. My experience has told me that, with cosmetics and clothes, if you find something that really works for you, you should buy multiples because you never know when the manufacturer will "improve" them so they're a different, less desireable product.I like these eyeliners because they go on smoothly and blend well so there's no harsh line across my eyelids. I can't use most eye makeup products because they make my eyes sting, but the ELF eyeliner doesn't cause any issues. Easy to apply and I love the charcoal color. May never run out, with four to my name now, but would buy again. Also, ELF is never tested on animals, and that's foundational for any personal care item I purchase.

This eye liner looked great in the video advertisement. I liked the idea of a creamy eyeliner that would stay put, so I ordered it. For a few days, I loved it.. then it got hard, and wouldn't make a line. I used a sharpener from my old eyeliner and the undercoat was creamer. The eye liner doesn't come with a sharpener. My conclusion is that this product is essentially the same as every other eyeliner pencil out there.

I'm a fan of elf products. They go on so easily and they last a long time. The color is true and looks great against my skin. And the most important it's easy to remove at the end of the day without really scrubbing too hard.

this went on smooth and washed off nicely. I liked that it is a warm shade of black. I don't think there is enough product in the tube tough.

Chi usa la matita nera nella rima interna sa che dopo poche ore tende inevitabilmente a sbiadire o a sbavare creando l'effetto "panda". Questo eyeliner cremoso no: una volta fissato, rimane lì, perfetto e super intenso per ore e ore, senza muoversi di un millimetro. Lo straconsiglio!
